Just a question. But since this two week window has never happened with iPhones before. What is the purpose of charging us 8 days before it arrives? I know its just guesses but that's pretty early if you think about it.

In the past the phones shipped very quickly from China to other countries- within a day or 2 This year with 2 weeks Apple can probably save a lot of money with a less urgent method of shipping since they have a good few days now. The less rush the better the deal they probably gave Apple

My Apple Barclaycard was charged as well. I was also able to track my launch day device and it’s moved twice...But still in China. But at least it’s on it’s way!
