i have that clock

seriously, to the pic poster, there is no reason to make them that large, scale down first.

second, to the quoter, there is ever less reason to quote the photos, especially when they are that big, they take up too much space.

I almost purchased an applesac 2 years ago but there weren't many reviews around so I wimped out and went with an incase. Glad to see they're catching on. I'll probably get one the next go round.

Nice reviews and pics too.

jeeze you complain alot

To those wondering about sizes:

I'm (of course) not the OP, but I have a new MacBook and recently got an (original) AppleSac from a third-party vendor. They, unlike AppleSac, did not specify whether the size was the new or old 13-in MacBook, but since they didn't, it is likely the old size.

But...it still fits well. (You can slide it around just a little if you try, but it's not a big deal--and if you look at the size specs between the two MacBooks, there's hardly any difference in size.)

Just my thoughts. :D

Oooh, fuzzy - nice! But will it shed lint goblins onto the computer?

No it stops shedding after a week but it doesnt shed really bad at first :) just blow the lint off, it won't hurt your shiny NEW Macbook :D

Received my AppleSac from myGearStore today!

It's better than I thought it'd be. The Hemp material feels really nice and durable. I just ran a lint roller over the inside fleece and just a few things came up. Can't wait to use it tomorrow. :)

I totally recommend it.

zotes24,

The iPhone photos that I see on Flickr are decent, but yours look awful. Are you using the 3G?

If I owned a Macbook - I'd definitely buy one of these. I love mixing old and new, kind of like working for a hi-tech company inside an old mill building. It's just contrasting and... Nice.

Someone want to give me a Macbook so I can have a good reason to get one of these? :D

Exactly what I thought :D like a tech or photo studio in a high rise loft haha

sorry that the pics were so big i didnt know. Yes its from my iphone 3g. It was excessively dark in the room and thats why i believe they turned out so badly.
At 1st i hated the applesac case and for some reason i fell in love with it. :apple::apple:

Just incase any of you have ANY quality concerns, I thought I'd post these pics...

I've had my applesac for almost a year now. I would say I'm an "extreme" user, in that my laptop goes with me everywhere, every day, and it goes in and out of the sleeve at least 5 times a day, so it gets more abuse than most people would probably give it. The sleeve gets carried around in a messenger bag with a lot of other stuff, and this applesac does a great job protecting my MB from every-day life...

After all this time, surprisingly, the sleeve hasn't really stretched. You can see my thumb in there on the side, and I had to squeeze it in there... so it's still snug. The padding inside is a little flat, and I thought washing might make it soft and fluffy again, but I don't know about that sort of risk.

This is laying flat, and me grabbing the velcro and pulling it up... still very velcro-y... almost like the day I got it...
applesac4.jpg

The pocket has a mouse and the power cord in there. The pocket has stretched a little, and the adapter will slide around if given the chance to be held sideways or (duh) upside down...
applesac1.jpg

The only thing that's getting old about it is that it's getting "fuzzy". Like I said, this may be due to my excessive use. The fuzzyness doesn't come off like a lint, it's just... there...
applesac2.jpg

Hope this helps a little. I'm very happy I went with this one when I found them online a year ago. You guys will be, too.

Is that a black colcasac?

I know The Original is kinda loosely woven but the Colcasacs look more tight :D that black may be my next applesac :D

okay since these applesacs are catching on we need a name for all those who own one :D uhmmm how bout Applesacheads :confused: idk

so can anybody confirm that the applesac via mygearstore is the OLD 13" and not the specifically made one we see on applesac.com for the aluminum ones? Really curious.

The one which I got from MyGearStore (see video review in sig), it fits perfectly. Back to your question, I believe it is made for the new alu MB's.

Does the outside fabric get any pulls in it? It looks weaved and im curious how it holds up.

Thanks!
