The one which I got from MyGearStore (see video review in sig), it fits perfectly. Back to your question, I believe it is made for the new alu MB's.

that's the answer i was looking for, thanks buddy and great review.

EDIT: just ordered the black colcasac. was gonna go with the brown but that cost 4USD more and i thought ehhh what the heck.

28 dollars + 15 dollars shipping and then promo code "moneyoff" gives you an extra 12 percent off.

total shipped to canada: 40 bucks. still very pricy but i'd rather have the protection.

Is there a difference between the 13 inch macbook sizes? I checked mygearstore and they do not allow you to choose the new or old macbook?

the samurai reviewed and said it fit perfectly so i assume its the new one.

I'm about to switch to the new mb and was looking to get one of those applesacs. Before I buy it though I have a quick question: how does that 100% polyester sherpa fleece lining deal with a warm notebook? I'm worried that if I've been using my mb for a few hours and then I decide to slip it inside there that my mb would get too hot. Anyone have any feedback on this?

Yes. I have put a semi-hot macbook into the case and nothing "bad" has happened. A few hours later when I took it back out, it was very cool.

Is that..

What color is the inside of the original apple/colca sac? It looks like an indigo-ish color to me.

Great thread - hadn't come across these applesacs before. If MacBooks had been around in the Middle Ages, I can imagine applesacs being popular with the peasants of that era as they wandered around the countryside looking for a charging point. Still a great product though.
