Maybe it's just me, but Windows has a finer degree of control over most things.
I can change the volume output of a specific program or application where as in Lion, that one volume controller controls the total output. I am much more versatile with Windows Explorer than Finder - things have been hidden to the point that I am frustrated. Also, I cannot generally set folders so that they remain in a grid format. I can apply it to specific folders, but not all.
