Cheap $4 tpu case i got from handhelditems. waiting on the vulcan now...
case looks nice, hard to hit volume buttons and lock though. not bad for $4 though...
i see some people have purchased the 30 dollar white iresq glass backs. how are they holding up? are they high quality? i checked ifixdirect and they are charging 60 bucks for them
The original reason why I ever got one is because of how poor invisible shield was on the iPhone 4. In less than 6-7 months I've had the back replaced 3 times, so finally when I saw a $30 backplate I jumped on it!
I got mine the next day as promised with overnight shipping. Overall quality of the plate is great! It looks, feels, and weighs pretty much the same as the OEM part. As for the flash diffuser, I haven't seen any notable difference in picture taking ability.
I was particularly worried about scratching up the black case, so I put the white one on in case I decide to sell the phone in the coming months and now I don't care for any case on my phone just because I dont care about scratching the back now.
However, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to have removed the big plastic sheet on the inside of the plate? Anyone want to shed some light on this?

Got a white clear back, time to show off
Decided to post in this thread instead of creating a new as i promised i went and got my self the white clear back from ifixdirect, they were the guys that did my white conversion so i stopped by to swap my home-button to black and put on a new clear back. Its still on pre-order from what they told me but i got the very first sample which has minor flaws (did not bother me). PS: I noticed some of you asked about the verizon backs, they have them also now.

For those of you buying from SW-BOX or iResq, are there any flash issues? I'm really interested in getting one but I use the flash a lot so I don't want to mess that up.
I ordered about 4 backs from sw box. Got them in today. They were all cheap ones
the white one i got (the $18 one) is the only one that came with a diffuser but photos with flash are still HORRIIBLE. It looks like the light is bleeding all over the camera. Ill lhave to look into a fix. The backs themselves are beautiful other than that. I got white, leather, croc skin, and see through back.
OFF TOPIC--- I know it doesnt show any quality but a pic I took earlier of the white back+the thin case from sw box (along with a logo i printed out and stuck inside the case. I will try and get some pics of the back the,selves some other time, I got it set up how i want for now
i got my white backplate from a local shop installed for $50. pricey but i wanted to see how it would be. looks good and i dont see any poor quality photos from the flash, or maybe i just dont realize it.

As far as flash issues, I have not seen any with the correct camera lens piece. The first white back I ordered was just a solid piece of glass without tge separate lens and it was horrible. With the separate piece you can see the back light up some but it can't get to the camera.
Thanks, I checked the SGP site and it looks like that case has a white rubber part now. I really liked the black on yours.
Have you had any problems with it? Judging by the reviews on their site it is not the most durable, but who knows how those people treat their cases.
yes i do. Its not pretty. Mind you I got a very cheap white back and even though it came with a diffuser you get what you pay for. In the end it looks like the diffuser is crap(not actually allowing the light through so Im going to try and just take it out, because the backs i got from them without the diffuser work pretty decent so far.
A bigger problem-the white back i got from sw-box degrades picture quality period. Even without flash pictures are blurry and you lose a lot of detail. So DO NOT buy the $18 "high quality" white back from sw-box. Keep in mind I also have cheaper ones from them (see through, leather, and croc skin backs) that don't have this problem. Just that one white one.

I might try to contact them-maybe the one I got has a defective diffuser and camera lens.
