What data would they possibly want from you.....your pictures? put a logo on them if your worried about them that much. They don't sell your information to anyone..get adblock if your worried about that. little red icon that gets rid of all ads on every website, and gets rid of the stupid youtube video ads too.

Just strange to me TBH, I've never heard anyone so concerned about their name being exposed lol.

I think this will all be different when they go public next year. A friend of mine in the business said this recently. The difference between apple, facebook and google is that FB and google mine our info to sell it. Apple may charge a lot for its things, but they're not selling it on to people. I think he has a point, and thats coming from me who was uber against apple for a while!

Skyfire browser - Enables you to watch flash videos AWESOME.

DocsToGo - You can create/edit Word, Excel or Powerpoint documents and use them on your home computer.

IMDB - If you're a movie buff :)

Netflix Mobile - If you are a subscriber

Garmin StreetPilot - If you don't have a GPS, it's only $40 and FREE UPDATES!

Angry Birds - I know, it's the most cliche game, but it's the top selling app for a reason, addicting!

Hipstamatic - Amazing photography app with different filters and such. Camera + is cool too :)

iHeartRadio - Listen to all your local and national radio stations.

Red Laser - Scan items' barcodes and find discounts at local stores and such

WhitePages - Awesome reverse phone lookup, so you can find out numbers you dont know

TheWeatherChannel - The current weather app sucks, but with iOS 5 coming soon, you won't need TheWeatherChannel anymore, so definitely dont buy the ad-free $5 one. Get the free one.

Shazam - Listens to a song and tells you the artist, song name, album etc.

Well, that's about all I have for now. I have 1000s of apps, but only about 50 currently installed. I'll let you know if i figure out more you'll like.

My recommendation is to take it slow. Get one or two apps at a time and get free versions if you can . My phone is clogged with crappy apps I never used more than once.

Sure you can make it private. But if you've read through the TOS you'll notice that you truly are private. That Facebook hereby owns said rights and etc. etc. to any and all data put into and onto their website, databases, etc.

So while many think its truly private or anonymous, its not. Your pictures, information, etc. they have the right to sell and copyright.

As for facebook caring about me, I know they don't. But they do care about the 700,000,000 persons with precious personal information that they so willingly sell to bidders for said data. Yes, they can and will and have sold your information.

This is why I am not on Facebook. My data and information is mine.

oh really, you mean facebook owns the stuff that you put on their servers... weird </sarcasm>
