Hello friends,

Just upgraded from the iPhone 12 base model to a beast of a 13PM.

Had been thinking about this for a while, although my 12 was mostly perfect I do really wanted a bigger screen, and really needed a better battery.

After 48H can now say I do not regret the decision. This phone is a bliss. It’s so blazing fast, I have not charged it yet. Screen is beautiful, cameras are insane (even the zoom camera is amazing).

Any tips you could share to take the most out of the camera? I do notice some over excessive processing in a lot of shots.

Besides that any other tips would be more than welcome!

Would suggest If you have a chance use pro raw really does make your photos great in areas the iPhone needs improvements

Thank you all guys.

I have been really enjoying the new iPhone. Still, wondering if there is any camera settings I should fiddle around to avoid the over processing of the camera.

Do you guys use the camera app or any alternative app for taking photos?

What I mean is I feel there is a over sharpening in a lot of situations.

I have no idea which other apps there are for Camera, but there are no settings to the native camera app that prevents the HDR processing.

If you shoot in raw there is no processing per se, and what there is, is editable.

Battery life and power are my new mandatory features I need for everything now. And the Pro Max has comically long battery life.

CONGRATULATIONS dude or girl I didn’t read all your post. I have the same one and the battery IS AMAZING I leave home at 9:30 and when I come home I don’t even need to plug it in I could still use it the whole next day but I just plug it in because it’s just a habit.

I’m contemplating this very switch. Moved to the 12 from a 6.4 inch android and welcomed the more compact design but I’m leaning to getting better cameras and battery over everything.

How did you honestly find the switch size wise? Is it cumbersome to use? Or does everything else outweigh that?

I moved up to a 13PM from a XR. I could tell the PM was heftier, but not overwhelmingly so. I personally don't find it too cumbersome, but if I did, the brilliant screen and battery life would definitely outweigh that.

I won’t lie to you: it’s a big ass phone. But nonetheless it is absolutely amazing, speed cameras battery for days.

Coming from iPhone 11PM, to the 13, to the SE3 and finally to the 13PM. Finally it feels like I’m at home now haha.
