I agree with you for the most part, but some things *are* broken and Apple doesn't seem to be aware that they need fixing. The Springboard made sense when the iPhone first came out, but with third party apps it's broken. Yes, folders helped a bit, but it still needs an overhaul to make managing and finding large numbers of apps easier.

I do find it strange that people seem fine with incremental software and hardware changes on the Mac side, but don't agree when Apple applies that same strategy to iOS.

I gotta say I'm with you on finding large number of apps. I have some that sit for a while because I forget that I have them.

My Nexus @ 4.65" is always used one handed, and very easy at that. My Wife also has the galaxy nexus, she is petite with small hands, never once complained it was too large :) I mean the phone.

definitely.. the 4in + isnt to bad. 4in for this iphone might be a sweet spot for apple. But like always, we will have no definitive idea until the release .

Not for long. More than a hundred million devices will run that resolution a year from now.

Sorry but as usual, Apple is way behind the times. Plenty of mobile devices are already at 1280x720p or getting there quickly. By next year, they will be moving towards 1080p and the iphone will still probably be at 640 LOL

Apple continuously has something implemented within their devices that manage to hold people off till the next release while still remaining slightly current in some form.

Apple is not behind the times for their business model. They have a different road they take for there own products that are proven, tested, matured, not to follow others. They are doing just fine. Look at the $$ they have. Apple does not worry or bow down to enthusiasts/fanatics on this or other boards whining because the other manufactures have this/that or the other thing that iphone does not. They sell millions each year. And this is why the iphone 5 will sell millions. Must be a reason why you and other trolls rant/complain on this forum so much. Go to the other manufactures forums and be happy if you don't like the iPhones. No one stopping you and Apple is not changing for you either if you haven't noticed. ;)

PS: Since Android phones have left Apple in the dust and behind the times you say, why is it, that millions flock to the iphone, not to mention why is it that I have left Android for the iphone ? Its because they are different, the phone is to my liking, and I like that.

I posted this earlier in another thread.

I think its safe to say there are bigger and better phones out there then the iphone, been that way for years. The ONLY reason the iphone sells is because too many people are tied at the hip to itunes and think its the only place that exists to get music, movies and games for a phone. Thats it.

finally someone who did some research before commenting

s3 sucks anyway. friend has one and hates it, gaaaarbage
You might take your own advice about research before puking up that ridiculous, empty comment about the S3.

..and anyone that thinks you can't operate a well designed (let's say) 4.3" phone with one hand is way, way deep in the Apple brainwashing tank.

Hell, way back when the iPhone 4 was released, the HTC EVO at 4.3" was a dream to hold and use. 4.3" ain't that big kiddies.

Given I've been running iPhones since 07, I've accumulated a vast collection of apps. But the thing is, there is really no point in keeping everything live on your phone if you're not using all the apps. It's kind of like cleaning your junk drawer/closet/garage. You can keep everything for no good reason, or you can clean out those things you know you're not using.

So I've cleaned out, not just the apps sitting on the phone, but those residing on iTunes on my MBA - because why keep something that you're not using and see no reason to use again anytime in the future. Add to that, the fact that you can ditch the app and re-download it if you want. I've done the same thing with music and I've saved old photos (lot's of old work related photos) to an external drive as well as old work files I know I'm not going to need. It's a great habit to do this. My next step is going to be saving my current work files to iCloud, which I've started with new files, but haven't gone back to my older (recent) files yet.

Damb the tall iphone design is ugly, i still can't believe Apple are going to release a phone that looks like that.

People flock to it because Apple fanboys would buy a steaming turd if it had an Apple logo on it. I love Apple and i own a heap of Apple products but my HTC One XL is light years ahead of the current iphones and going off the leaks so far it will be better then the new iphone aswell.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's got something to do with a better user experience and quality of hardware? Sure, tying people into the eco-system gives Apple a leg up on the competition, but if you look at what's happening with adoption rates for other Apple products, it's clear that the iPhone is actually creating a halo effect for not only the iPad, but their MacBooks and iMacs too.

Ease of use and quality do have a big impact on lots of people's decision making for what they'll buy. I think those that comment that the Apple buying public is simply blindly buying because of Apple's marketing are foolish, at best.

If you would comment that there is a large contingency of Apple fans that buy Apple products because of the design aesthetic alone, I would agree wholeheartedly.

If that is the new iPhone5; YAWN  Looks like a Hershey candy bar that tall.

Same design for a third year in a row. Oh wow, now it's a hair taller and thinner, but not wider uh ok...

Same old iOS from 2007, same home screen full of app icons. Where is the innovation and magical fresh design Apple is known for ? This just seems like keeping it the same with a minor refresh, not rock the boat, just keep the ca$h flowing in.

Not sure why some folks keep looking for some radical redesign to the OS. When was the last time there was a major redesign to the UI in OS X? Apple doesn't do radical redesigns. They just add features to what already exists in order to refine.
