No man, I wasn't disagreeing with you. I was just pointing out that since at least iOS 8 Apple has had some issues with releases. That doesn't make it beta or lousy, or as the other poster mentioned, something to be released later when Apple polished it up.I already established iOS isn't perfect previously in this thread and nor is that the point behind my Post your quoting. IOS 12, 13, 14, etc won't be perfect either and you will have those chastising concerns on a tech forum, because that's where discussion Thrives the most with imperfections with each version. Not to mention, it's usually the negatives discussed more often, then praising the positives about iOS.
(And your iOS 9 example, I never has issues at all when on any of my devices with that version.)
However, revisiting the quote stated by the member I quoted:
"it's a matter of lousy software that was pushed out too early."
My point is, that poster commented on iOS being "Pushed" to early. iOS traditionally releases the same time every year, so it's negated when it's when it was said it was "To early" when it's not if it releases the same time accordingly. Now, if a specific version of iOS has issues being reported, that doesn't make it early or premature, it makes it a
lackadaisical and apathetic release. Significant difference.
Lastly, iOS 11 has 47% adoption rate according to reports last week. iOS sometimes Can appear a bigger issue on a tech forum then it is in the real world. I'm not saying iOS 11 was Apples best release, because it likely wasn't. But on a tech form, it's vastly more a problem for many, then it is in the real world for every day iPhone consumers that likely have no issue for the millions who have downloaded it. I have no metric for my analogy, but I can at least use myself for example, which I have occurred no inconsistencies.
I don't disagree that iOS 11 has been stellar. But do you think you would have better experiences using a different operating platform? And ultimately leaving behind the quality of the product from Apple just because of iOS 11? The way I see it, Apple isn't perfect and neither is their software. But They continually release updates to rectify the issues that some are experiencing, in which we receive iOS updates more regularly than you would with other competitors.
Same. Every time I unlock my phone it rotates into landscape mode and then back to portrait. I don’t get it. I’m holding it straight up and down so it shouldn’t do this. Even a restore and set up as new didn’t help.I've had the rotation issue since iOS 10.
This reply is intended as a serious reply. Thank you.
I needed it to run my new Apple Watch. Why did all of you update to iOS 11 so soon? What feature(s) did you need to put yourself through this Gamma testing hell?
Of course my 6s is buttery smooth with awesome battery life since it's on 9.3.5

A DFU won't fix issues inherent to the OS itself.
iOS 11 is a buggy mess that should still be in beta. When droves of people have the same issues, it's not a matter of "No, it's your fault for doing something, you should do a total DFU restore!", it's a matter of lousy software that was pushed out too early.

Well I for one never experienced bad updates until this one. I mean no software is perfect but tons of bugs where it hangs and I can't use the phone or can't answer the phone or can't open an app. I don't recall experiencing any of these bugs and I've been an iphone user since gen 1.Restore and set up as new. Should help.
