As title says, was previously using iPhone 7 Plus red edition 256gb version. I had that since release, no issues with that, just wanted to treat myself

So far no issues which have been reported here, will run it for a few days then restore from iTunes backup.

Will update thread once backup is done

Attached a pic next to my 1st gen iPad Pro 12” 128gb

Thanks for reading :)

Enjoy your new iPhone XS Max, it’s a great phone.

I actually do have a 65” OLED 4K TV. Of course the picture image looks fantastic. I also have a 4K projector on a 120” screen in my theater room, not the same as OLED but looks phenomenal.

I've been eyeing on those super thin OLED TVs. I saw the Sony and the LG one in the shop... I guess I'm suppose to build them into my wall somehow, one of the big reasons I haven't gotten one.

That's cool! Yeah I'll never consider LCD for a home TV for anything other than for a guest bedroom. For the master and theater... it's OLED.

I feel the opposite when it comes to phones though. I'm actually fine with LCD on my 8 Plus... main reason is OLED is best viewed in a dark setting... which is the opposite of how most everyone uses their phone. Some of the OLED luster is lost... and while I will probably be upgrading in the next year or two having an OLED screen on my phone isn't something I feel I have to go get today.

I didn’t build it into my wall, but I purchased a very slim tv mount that makes it look as if it a picture hanging on the wall. And yes, they are super thin.

Yes that's the ones I want. But they have thin cable to the display processor you need to create an opening in the wall for, no?
