Wow, just noticed this is native! You can actually make a recording when away from your phone and it will upload when you get back in sync. Nice complication icon too--worth a space on my Modular screen for sure!

Agreed... I need that in my life. Instant loading and right into recording. So useful.

I purchased this yesterday and tested it all night. Works flawlessly for me. Totally worthy of keeping the complication on the watch face. Thanks for the original poster for posting this on the forum.

Great app - recorded an epic tickle fight with my 4 year old with it.

Only weakness is if you cover the screen (or a little chubby arm does it defending an armpit) it shuts off and you lose the recording, not sure if the dev can control that though.

Based on your recommendations above, just bought it ... Now to remember I actually have it (and try not to look odd speaking to my watch when recording!) Based on a few test recordings, seems fine, and set it up as a complication. Impressed so far.

Just downloaded this and put it on the watch face. Thanks. Hope to get some good use.

Yep, great app. Very useful if you need to make voice notes. I even sprang for the Mac version, the only drawback being that you have to listen to the notes through iTunes. That's odd, because on iOS, you can play the notes directly in the app.

Got my son the watch for xmas.
This is the first app he bought for school. He cannot at all get it to work. Just spins to open then crashes on watch.

He has re-set up the watch three times. Deleted the app on iPhone, restarted iPhone etc.

Nothing works. Any ideas?
Developer has not responded with a fix.

Thanks.

What is the point of the OSX app then? Can't I just drag my iCloud songs into iTunes?

Was excited about this app but currently frustrated by inability to change the bitrate from 64 kbps.

Also seeing some malfunctions with the transcribe method staying at '...' no matter what I do.

Have you mentioned these things to the developer? He may address them in future updates.

@Tmdlkwd - Before I dive in, this would be amazing for roving reporters/journalists/bloggers who want some quick audio recording from the watch. Is there any ability to add AGC into the watch app in real-time or post-processing via the phone? Or at least do some optional post-processing to make the audio processed with a stable audio level.

Being able to configure recording audio format, export options to lower bit-rates would a bonus too.

Just bought this app, and so far it's pretty awesome. The only downside seems to be that it stops recording when the Apple Watch screen turns off.
