Just received AT&T tethering notice while using tetherme..

I wonder, what with AT&T offering double data plans (at the original price) if anyone will discontinue home internet service and simply tether.



Seems, for many- this would be an ultra cheaper alternative yet with LTE service.

I guess if you use very little bandwidth at home it'd be fine. If on an unlimited plan I'm sure you'll get flagged eventually for high usage. My household uses ~400gb a month.

AT&T makes you pay more just to be able to tether. This is ridiculous. You're already paying for data AND the device, everything you need. You shouldn't have to pay so much more just to be able to tether the data you are already paying for. I mean really, what are you getting that you didn't have before?

I'm really sick of AT&T and Verizon.

I guess I'm dreaming, but would be awesome if AT&T would follow Verizon and remove bandwidth restrictions on the unlimited plans (even better if they would launch unlimited options again !)
