I really enjoyed it but I wouldn't go as far as saying it was the best movie. I've seen a lot of movies this year so can't remember which I would say is the best but I really liked The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo despite my hatred for Daniel Craig for replacing Pierce Brosnan as James Bond. I'm not old enough to have seen the older James Bond movies so I'm not saying Pierce Brosnan was better than the previous ones but I definitely liked him more than Daniel Craig

I don't want to change the topic of the thread, But Every James bond "Character" only gets a limited amount of movies. Then It's on to the next Actor.
With that said, I like Pierce and Daniel.

I have friends who work on films and the consensus is that Apple products are not paid placements and that most of the time they are in the movie/show because its the computers they have on set. Other times, its because the director or someone puts what products they like in a movie.

How old are you? You really need to watch more Bond movies, that's like saying you don't like Batman Begins because Christian Bale isn't as good a Batman as George Clooney was. Brosnan is arguable the worst Bond ever.

I dunno, i actually prefer Craig to Brosnan. I have watched thr older Bond movies and i don't really like the "hey look i am so cool with those unfunny lines and unable to be touched by anyone" approach. I like Craig's portrayal of a flawed and struggling protagonist in the new direction bond is taking, which he is doing quite well. Casino Royale (2006) was the best Bond movie i ever watched IMO.

As for MI:4 the story is generic but it is one of the movies where everything else is done so well that it easily tops the list of must watch movies. Especially the focus on team work instead of one man army. 2011 was pretty boring movie wise for me and MI:4 was such a welcome change. Already watched it twice in theatres :)

Also the sound track is amazing. That adds to the overall experience. Bad sound track ruins other wise good movies.

Best phone in a movie was the Matrix Samsung thingie that popped out when you answered it. Hi-Tech in 1999!

Brosnan was alright. Anyone's better than Lazenby and arguably Moore too. Connery set the bar too high!

Lazenby was pretty terrible (hell, that entire movie was pretty terrible), but I did always enjoy Moore, he gave us Moonraker!!! Connery is indeed the best.

I'm 20. I actually have seen some of the older ones but can't remember them that well. I'm a huge batman fan and I think I've seen all of them. It's not that the Bond movies Daniel Craig was in were worse, I just didn't like his portrayal of James bond as much as Pierce Brosnan.

Do yourself a favor and watch From Russia with Love and Goldfinger. And You Only Live Twice. And if you want a laugh, watch Dr. No. And maybe Diamonds are Forever. Then Thunderball. Okay, enough already. Those are probably my favorites from the Connery era...

I didn't think Goldeneye was bad (probably because the N64 game was so awesome) but I hated, HATED The World is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, and Die Another Day.

Luckily Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace were pretty good. Hoping Skyfall continues the trend.

I agree, Moore wasn't BAD, but I just didn't get into his movies as much as Connery's or even Craig's. It just felt fake. License to Kill, Live and Let Die, even Moonraker, just felt like they dragged on rather than flowed. That's not saying the movies weren't cool or didn't have a neat plot (omg lasers!), but I guess just his subdued style of acting wasn't my favorite.

That being said:

Michael Ironside for next James Bond. You heard it here first, folks.

Connery was no doubt the best Bond. Connery, Moore, Brosnan, Craig. Casino Royale wasn't good at all. It was world series of poker meets James Bond. Quantom of Solace was waaaaay better. Hopefully MGM gets their finances sorted out and we can see another Bond movie in a couple of years.
