do they take magsafe?
Yes, Popsocket makes three Magsafe products. There's the standard magsafe popsocket, which has an oval base that includes a magnet to match the line guide magnet in addition to a magnet for the magsafe ring. They also make a round one, which has a circular base that's just the size of the magsafe ring, and finally a wallet that uses the ring and guide magnet and can hold several credit cards. They are all great and the most indispensable accessory for my ipnone. I'd sooner go caseless than go without my magsafe popsocket.

you have to take it off to charge? forget that

If you bought direct from Apple you have a 14 days no questions asked return policy. When I try their products I always go direct to have this insurance!
OP bought the phone in the UK, where there's a legal requirement to accept returns for online sales if a return is requested within 14 days. There's no requirement to provide a reason, but the item must remain in saleable condition.

You then have a further 14 days from making that request in which the item must be returned, and then seller then must refund you within 14 days of receiving the return.

If you want to charge wirelessly, yes. I push the popsocket off my phone in my pocket when I'm getting into my car to place it on the wireless charging cradle, and then slide it back on in my pocket when I'm done driving. Other than that I use wired charging. If you used wireless charging everywhere it would be less convenient.

To cite your example though, I don't like being jostled. Even with two hands it's easy to drop the phone when people are bumping in to you. So, if it's busy in whatever aisle I'm in, I will put myself in an area that is the least crowded and use both hands.

It was pretty much beaten in to me as a kid that it was inconsiderate to be in other people's way (wherever I may be), so I'll find some place where I am out of the way before looking at my phone.

Not really practical for me. The reason I have the phone out in the first place is to show someone the product shelves to confirm if that's what I need to buy. :p

Perhaps it's down to where you shop versus where I shop. Typically there is only one grocery store we go to (Walmart). The aisles are wide enough and I have never seen it so busy that I can't stand across from what I want to get a picture of while taking the pic with two hands.

Now, cellular reception in that store is bad, so there's that. We do shop a couple of other places that have less space but I have yet to take a pic in those places. Walmart is cheaper.

I had pre-ordered a regular 15 Pro but felt regret of not getting 15 PM. I played around with the 15PM for like 20 minutes at the Apple Store on different occasions and I think as far as weight, it's hard to tell the difference between the Pro and the Pro Max. The Pro Max is obviously physically bigger though and I had a hard time with it with one hand which I do a lot of. I don't care about the battery or camera 5x so I decided to just keep my 15 Pro. For me, the form factor is better. I don't use it to watch movies on very often nor do I play games on it. I use my MBP for those things.

I’m in the opposite boat. I went with the Pro this year instead of the Pro Max for the first time in several years. As the Max got a little wider, I liked it less. Last year was going to go smaller and chickened out. This year decided I was going smaller finally and they announced the better Zoom on the Max so I changed my mind. But I got screwed on preorders and by the time I got through the Max was back ordered to October so I decided to go with the Pro after all.

I like it, but feel like I’m missing out on the bigger screen and battery. Convince me I’m wrong and should keep the smaller Pro. lol.

I've gone for an extreme case (Pitaka case) which I always do on my previous phone. Not sure, I was hoping I'd get used to it pretty quickly but one handed usage is quite a strain. Not sure.

My first large phone was the 6 Plus. I was concerned I wouldn't get used to it, but I did after about 2-3 days. And, yes, one handed use was compromised a bit. But, for me, the trade-off in significantly larger screen was worth it. Might not be for you, in which case Apple's 2-week return period is something you can avail yourself of, but like others have said, I would give it at least a few days first.

If it was me, I'd be waiting until October :(

For 2-handed use, I have the iPad. Yes, it's always with me (purse) and it has built-in cellular so no need to mess around with personal hotspot (auto-connect doesn't always work). :p

I've never really liked big phones. Too unwieldy for single-handed use but the screen's still too small for my liking.

Try a Magsafe Popsocket. Total game changer for the Max phones.

get the round one, I just got it to replace the original pill form factor MagSafe one and its a game changer to the game changer

Upgraded from 12 pro to 15 pro max

I like the larger size. It really is not much bigger, i use a thin leather case so that helps.

I got the 14 Pro Max several months ago and while I loved the large screen, I really couldn't get used to the extra size and weight for everyday use. At home I would use the speaker for phone calls and for everything else used it with 2 hands. I'm loving my new 15 Pro and it just feels right for me. The print size is the same - you just don't get as much on a page which doesn't bother me.

if you want a pro get a pro! I have gone back and forth for sure. For me the issue with one handed is I always drop it!! my 14 I dropped like 5 times, lol.. both 15s are amazing!!

Went from 12 Pro to 15 Pro Max and couldn't be happier. You'll appreciate the larger screen as your eyes get older and watch media on it.

Women have purses

Size wise for a man the large ones are too much for putting into a pocket unless you’re rocking these 😂

I think the 4S was the perfect size, bring that back with the X rounded edges and build quality, but the guts of a new phone and full screen with a fingerprint on button, keep the stronger lighting port, sapphire instead of the soft glass crap, submersible like the ultra, stainless, that would be perfect
