If the rumours are true all i can say is bo**ox.

Yes. Indeed you can.
Did you just discover Macrumors or any other Tech site today?

You can take it back and pay a nominal restocking fee after the event, then possibly get the new one for less, depending on what the price points are.

I sometimes don't understand people on this site.

lol, id rather keep the current mbp than pay a restocking fee. Win some lose some i guess. Will see what the future holds.

I have been living in a hole so until i see spy shots of a 17" mbp in the new style i will carry on assuming that the new laptop is just a 15" mb. :p

You can easily take it back and, if I recall, sometimes Apple will let you swap your machine for a new one if bought within 14 days of the release. Not sure what the hard policy is on it, though.

look at it this way tho. if you buy a computer next week something better will be out. so u know. u still got a decent mac. does it matter?
even though it would be nice to have a brand new one i do agree.

nice new design.

That is very true. Just a shame because last time i went to buy a mac my order got cancelled and stocks dried up. Next thing i know the 24" imac was released and i was able to change my order. Damn them apple store sales people and there charms.

This whole site was created *specifically* to mess with your mind. There is *no* event tomorrow, nor will there ever be an event. Apple notebooks have been EOL'd, and so Apple has created this whole thread, just for you. If you go back to the store tomorrow to exchange your system, you will see nothing but bare shelves... plus, they'll seize your notebook as being too outdated, leaving you with nothing but regrets.... trust me on this one...

hope this helps you feel better.....

i love my imac, they are brilliant lol.
i am thinking of buying a mb soon but i aint got the money yet so i will be gettin one of the new models if they even come out soon.

bollox.

I don't understand why you couldn't wait a single day. Especially if your spending so much money.

wow, not to bright. Your paying the same price for less power. Not to smart on investments I guess, even when apple clearly announced a notebook event last week.

Enjoy your new computer and may you and it live long and prosper together. New models may or may not be released tomorrow; if they are, and you like the loo of them, try to exchange. If they don't thrill you, enjoy what you have just bought, a terrific computer.
Cheers and good luck

After a long drive i think its gonna stay. Oh also thanks for the warm welcome guys (with the exception of a few).

If you like your new laptop then great! I would wait one day to see what will come. It's only a day!

I am not into buying new things immediately, or waiting for ever for updates to come but this time the wait time would be a single day...
