That was one of the reasons I sold the SE was the reduced screen size. And I went to the 7 Plus. An adjustment for size, but quickly adjusted.
I went the other way - I had a 6S+ and just got completely fed up with the sheer size of it, so swapped it for an SE and couldn't be happier 🙂

I've sold my iPad Pro and am treating my Mum to iPhone SE for Christmas (she doesn't know it yet) as her iPhone 5c is showing it's age.

I opened the box to check it over and it's a solid device. Screen is too small for my own personal use but I know my Mum will like it.

I have both the 7 Plus and SE, and use them both daily.

They seem equally as fast, but there are 3 main differences in my use:
  1. The OIS in the 7 Plus is brilliant.
  2. The solid-state home button is also wonderful, and it feels weird to go back to a clicky button on the SE.
  3. The 2nd gen touch ID in the 7 Plus is much much better than the SE. Since most people unlock their phone dozens of times a day, this is probably the #1 usability advantage that the 7 Plus has over the SE.
If they made the SE with the 3 features above, it would be killer. The 3D touch is OK, but not really missed terribly.
