It's funny you should say that, I was reading an interview with Keira in SKY magazine last year or '03, and she remarked that when she was fully costumed in The Phantom Menace, her mother who was there as her chaperone couldn't differentiate between herself and Natalie Portman such was the similarity.

Anyway, my take on the Keira 'phenomena' is that she's attractive enough, but as soon as I saw her interviewed for the first time, she didn't come across as being the sharpest tool in the box, and her accent didn't help either. That kind of put me off her.

For a rather lush accent, may I suggest Vivienne Kubrick (Stanley's daughter), watch the documentary she made on 'The Shining' DVD, with commentary on.

I've seen prettier girls in my local grocery store than up on the big screen. Most actresses are so screwed up you wouldn't believe it. I would not want to date an actress, no matter how much pancake makeup they use to make them look glamorous.

I don't like her smile. She reminds me of a horse. Granted, an attractive horse, but that as well as her accent got old after 2 months.

Natalie Portman, on the other hand, has a beautiful smile and laugh. An acquaintance was good friends with her while they went to Harvard. Seeing a lot of "natural" pictures of her made me appreciate her even more.

I think that you would have to get in line behind edesignuk, Which would probably be the end of the line.

I also think that Natalie Portman would be a young lady that any young male would be proud to take home to their mother. She seems to be very down to Earth in IMHO.
