I just received a replacement computer for a defective machine. Its a brand new macbook pro. I transferred old files with time machine only to have the new machine resume a series of kernel panics that caused the replacement. The Genius Bar asked me to reload everything from scratch so as not to transfer corrupt files. I did so -- with the most up to date dmg files out there, and 4 days later had another kernel panic. I do not know what it means but have pasted it below.

    Help!

looks like a ram issue as evidenced by

Try testing each stick of ram without the other there to see if its just a bad stick

I'm thinking the same thing, but code the whole EAX reminds me of Assembly, for me it seems the system crashed on a computing mistake.

I'm going to agree. Seems like software not hardware. How many times have you got a kernel panic? First one? Same panic? If it's your first one and it is software, there's a chance that it was a fluke accident and probably won't see it again. If it's more than once, I'd start troubleshooting possible software changes and then trying a reinstall. If that doesn't help, you would then look at hardware and RAM being the first thing to check out.

Well, if it happens again yes. But if you want to be sure. Run Hardware test (Full test). It'll take a while (~1 hour) but it will tell you of you have anything bad with your hardware.

I completed the full hardware test -- it found no problems -- so I reran the tech tool and it still found video RAM problems . . .

sounds like software issue? how to proceed from here? This is a fully fresh install, with fully updated install .dmg files . . . .
