I'm sorry to start another Kernel Panic thread, but I'm starting to get desperate. I get quite a few kernel panics now and it always happens when using a browser with multiple tabs open, and flash crashing. Since Safari (for example), doesn't crash, just flash does, I'd hit okay and continue what I was doing on that particular tab. I'd close out that tab to read the next, only to get another message that flash has crashed. Again, I continued on with that page and then repeated. Usually that works, but every once and awhile (once ever 10-14 days), this happens and I get a kernel panic. Can anyone try to help me on this? I'm out of warranty, and in no shape to buy a new computer. EDIT: Here is my most recent kernel panic: Code: Interval Since Last Panic Report: 386784 sec Panics Since Last Report: 1 Anonymous UUID: 0FDBCB7E-FBE3-408A-AB26-D59368168D46 Tue Jun 29 16:48:14 2010 panic(cpu 0 caller 0x2a8ab2): Kernel trap at 0x00973891, type 14=page fault, registers: CR0: 0x80010033, CR2: 0x4c417018, CR3: 0x30572000, CR4: 0x000006e0 EAX: 0x4c417018, EBX: 0x05b99000, ECX: 0x00973838, EDX: 0x03fffffc CR2: 0x4c417018, EBP: 0x2fb1aab8, ESI: 0x05b99520, EDI: 0x2fb1ab40 EFL: 0x00010206, EIP: 0x00973891, CS: 0x00000008, DS: 0x00000010 Error code: 0x00000000 Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack) 0x2fb1a8b8 : 0x21b455 (0x5cf328 0x2fb1a8ec 0x2238b1 0x0) 0x2fb1a908 : 0x2a8ab2 (0x591664 0x973891 0xe 0x59182e) 0x2fb1a9e8 : 0x29e9a8 (0x2fb1aa00 0x143 0x2fb1aab8 0x973891) 0x2fb1a9f8 : 0x973891 (0xe 0x6650048 0x5b90010 0x10) 0x2fb1aab8 : 0x977af8 (0x5b99000 0x2fb1ab40 0x51b7204 0xf0) 0x2fb1ab68 : 0x973f39 (0x5b99000 0x0 0x2fb1abcc 0x2fb1abc8) 0x2fb1abe8 : 0x562bee (0x5b99000 0x0 0x2fb1ae3c 0x2fb1ac74) 0x2fb1ac38 : 0 Model: MacBookPro2,1, BootROM MBP21.00A5.B08, 2 processors, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.33 GHz, 2 GB, SMC 1.14f5 Graphics: ATI Radeon X1600, ATY,RadeonX1600, PCIe, 256 MB Memory Module: global_name AirPort: AirPort Extreme, Atheros 5416: 184.108.40.206 Bluetooth: Version 2.3.3f8, 2 service, 12 devices, 1 incoming serial ports Network Service: Built-in Ethernet, Ethernet, en0 Network Service: AirPort, AirPort, en1 Network Service: Parallels Shared Networking Adapter, Ethernet, en4 Network Service: Parallels Host-Only Networking Adapter, Ethernet, en5 Serial ATA Device: Hitachi HTS541616J9SA00, 149.05 GB Parallel ATA Device: MATSHITADVD-R UJ-85J USB Device: Built-in iSight, 0x05ac (Apple Inc.), 0x8501, 0xfd400000 USB Device: ExpCard Adpt, 0x0781 (SanDisk Corporation), 0xb6d0, 0xfd500000 USB Device: IR Receiver, 0x05ac (Apple Inc.), 0x8240, 0x5d200000 USB Device: Bluetooth USB Host Controller, 0x05ac (Apple Inc.), 0x8205, 0x7d100000 USB Device: Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad, 0x05ac (Apple Inc.), 0x021a, 0x1d200000 EDIT 2: MBP - 2.33 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive (12.93 GB left; usually hover between 12-15 GB).
