Yeah I would think so too. Sadly it hasn't for anything that is flash based. HTML5 works perfectly, Quicktime works perfectly, unless I just got done using Flash and the quick time file is HD.

That's disappointing :( As a last resort, you might consider using the OS restore discs that came with the laptop? (Whether it's 10.4 or 10.5... just another thing to try)

Since you have a two-core processor in your MBP, open up two Terminal windows and run the command in both of those windows. That will act as a stress-test on the laptop.

So you think I should go back to 10.4 which is what was on it when I bought it brand new?

If I do that what am I looking for exactly? Will it tell me what piece of hardware is failing, or am I stress testing it to make the hardware fail?
