I've shared a few of my Mac apps here before, and I've always appreciated the feedback from the MacRumors community. This time I'd like to share another small app I've been working on: Keymap.
Keymap is built around a simple idea: make keyboard shortcuts easier to discover without getting in the way.
There are already several good apps that do something similar, including free options like CheatSheet and KeyClu. So I wasn't trying to solve a completely new problem here.
What I wanted was a slightly different workflow.
With Keymap running in the background, you can double-press ⌘ to bring up the shortcuts available in the app you're currently using. You can then search through them instead of trying to remember which menu contains a particular command.
It can also detect shortcut conflicts and, in the paid version, lets you remap shortcuts and see which shortcuts you actually use most often.
