I'm sure Apple would rather just sweep this issue under the rug. They've already publicly stated that there've been only "nine cases" of users reporting phones. I can't see them tacking on that issue already.

I'd bet that it's Jony Ive, more than anyone else at Apple, who deserves the blame for designing what appears to be a structural weaker than average smart phone.

I'll also bet that the iPhone 7 will be much stronger.

Again dream on, but after reading your other posts on this, just LOL
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Inc._litigation

not sure why you LOL me, while documenting my case, but ok...

As a disclaimer, I own pretty much every Apple product out there, I am an iOS developer and make a living out of building apps for the iPhone. So of course, I do want the iPhone to succeed; but it ain't gonna happen if this is a real issue and isn't addressed quickly. My best guess is that it is already addressed, that the 6+ is going to become even harder to get over the next few weeks while they're working on a fix, and for those of us with bad units, they'll replace them as we return them when the problem happens... at least I hope that's the plan, as just ignoring the issue for weeks is going to hurt them

I bent my 6+ against the corner of a table. All I did was press really hard on both ends and eventually it curved. I'm suing everybody. Cockroaches can survive nuclear holocaust but a $1000 phone can't be dropped from a roof? Apple is slipping.

Does it stay bent when you let go? No. Plastic is good that way.

No but a little more force I can see it snapping like a twig

Sue Apple!!!

surely they should have designed the iPhone to withstand for table corner bashing

Have noticed fandroids and alike are slowly crawling back to where they came from.

Ugh, that sucks. :/ Stupid kids. And I can't help but wonder whether Apple's sales are taking a hit at all, this has been a very public issue for them.

Needless to say they'll be doing more thorough 'bend tests' before releasing another iPhone. I wouldn't be surprised if the 6s ends up slightly thicker.

I have been working all day with an iPhone 6 in my pocket with just an apple leather case on. I have been out in the field picking romanesco cauliflowers and kale (yes, fascinating). I have been bending, lifting, walking, climbing into tractors/over gates, standing up and sitting down on and off since 7am wearing my average fitting work trousers (not using the back pocket, only a complete psycho would carry anything in their back pocket) and no matter how hard I try, I cannot bend my iPhone.

What am I doing wrong?

You have to hold it with both hands apply a 2 point force with your thumbs at the back of the phone and at the same a twisting moment to both ends of the iPhone with the palm of your hands.

Normal usage for a fandroid didn't you know?

Pictures and/or a video or didn't not happen!!!

You gonna bend my car??

Not exactly hard to do. I am sure I can kick it with 90lbs of pressure and dent/bend your hood, side panel, rear quarter panel. Take your pick.

hell, I will kick your car with only the iPhone 6's 70lbs of pressure to dent/bend your car.

Again, your choice. Let one of know in your local area when/where you want to meet up to do it. By your statements you are consenting to this so there will be no charges filed or insurance claims.

Hell, I hate it when one of the d'bags next to me open their doors into my car without any consideration for other's cars.

Every scratch, every dent, etc.... devalue my car which reduces it's resale value later. It is my property. I pay for it. If anyone is going to dent, scratch, etc... to my car, it will be me.

What a couple douche bags. I can bend an Mac Book Air, and Pro too if I really try.

I hope they get caught and get forced to pay for a full priced replacement.

I have had my 6plus since day one and it is in my pockets EVERY day. Usually front, however at times in the back. Slacks are not tight, but my jeans,
albeit not skinny jeans by ANY definitely they are much snugger than work slacks.
Not a hint of any type bending.

6'0 200 lb man.

Good god man, what the hell we're you trying to say? I've read that garbled mess five times and I still can't make it out.

I find it fascinating :) I love kale and romanesco cauliflower! Mmmmmm where do you work??

The iPhone 6 plus can easily bend. Thinking otherwise is just claptrap!

So many are defending this issue to the point it's getting ridiculous. If you are on the Yosemite PB release and notice a bug or a glitch do you defend that issue to your grave or report it? The phone bending issue isn't much different. It's a glitch that needs immediate attention.

If you don't believe it to be true, then try bending your own 6+. If you don't want to destroy your own phone by bending it then what other evidence is there to go off other than videos like these?

With that being said, I'm still eagerly awaiting my iPhone 6+ preorder. I just hope Apple can resolve this issue permanently and live up to the sublime company I believe they are.

I personally think were being a little too hypocritical here considering that 80% of this forum is now dedicated to the bending issue. If I would have to guess, a large portion of Apple Customers have already thought about seeing for themselves if the 6 Plus bends at a local Apple store. I know dam well that I thought about trying it for myself, I paid over a $1000,00 dollars for my unlocked 6 Plus and I love it and refuse to return it but I would still like to feel how much pressure this phone would take to bend, I want to enjoy the phone, not babysit it because I'm afraid of bending it.

I don't think there was anyone who looked forward to the 6 Plus more then i did, i had this design and screen size on my mind for 4 years and I patiently waited for it to be released but ultimately Apple goofed up with this one and needs to address the concern.

This is not the first time bendgate happened with Apple, the 5th generation iPods which are also very thin devices with a similar design as the iPhone 6 and 6 plus were also bending. They could have easily used that data and improved on this design.

As for reporting these kids to the police, i think thats the dumbest thing Ive ever heard, their dumb kids, not criminals and I HIGHLY doubt Apple would prosecute two 14 year old kids for seeing if their products bend, I'm sure Apple would love that to be in the press. Wise up people...seriously.

Go pick up 90lbs. That is how much weight you will have to apply to bend your 6+. That should help set your mind at easy. Just keep in mind not to put it in your back pock and you should be fine unless you are wearing skinny jeans with small/short pockets. Normal or deep pockets should be fine. I wear Old Navy regular cut jeans and my 6+ fits just fine in the front pocket with no issues. Granted I am using a Spigen Thin Fit Smooth Black case at the moment to help protect the back from scratching and for some actual grip but is like 1mm thick so you barely notice it is there. If you are someone that goes normally with a naken iPhone, check out Spigen's Thin Fit cases. Minimum thickness, a bit of extra grip, and helps flaten out the back (due to the camera).
