Heh heh. Actually I was thinking vegetable protein. :D

No and to be totally serious if the protein isn't rat it in all likelihood IS the same as that found in Soylent Green.

BTW did you see the ex-marine defector is now in Tokyo. In a rare bit of backbone, the Japanese Gov't won't allow the US Gov't to get access as GWB wants to lock him up before the Nipponese can debrief him. What is really incredible is his family were part of KJI's elite and his kids look like they are in their 50's, in reality the oldest is only in her 20's.

Understand.

However, I was replying based on Paul's incorrect comment:

"tho thankfully he doesn't have access to the armies and weapons"

In fact, he controls the military and their WMDs. As I understand, North Korea considers a chemical weapon a normal weapon vice a WMD.

Currently, the North Koreans have the capability to strike anywhere on the main island of Honshu with their missles. Should a simultaneous strike occur on say a Wednesday around noon in Osaka, Kobe, Tokyo and Nagoya you would kill, injure and incapacitate approximately 60% of Japan's entire population. The government would be helpless or dead and if 'Elvis' Koizumi were still in charge he wouldn't know what to do.

On the other hand Ishihara would arm all the Yaks and Rightists, herd them onto ferries and passenger liners, give them a large bottle of shochu and using the Nigerians, Chinese and other illegal aliens as human shields actually would attack Pongyang.

Ed, were you here when the practice shot went over Honshu?

Interesting times to say the least.

Yes I was. I've been in and out of this country since 1980 working for various news organizations. Gave that up some 4 yrs ago as I usually lose or injure a bodypart whenever I attend a major conflict.

Communism, uh, pisses me off.

Me too. I often travel to China & they are the same as North Korea- except they hide their mis-doings.
