Being careful can only get you so far. Accidents happen. That's why they're called accidents.

And I agree with you about replacement. Apple has been really cool about it so far but people shouldn't be pissed off at them if they don't get the phone they broke replaced for free.

I agree accidents happen- I never would say they don't. But I pay for accidents with my car, when I drop something by accident I pay for it... I even pay for accidents when daughter doesn't make it to the bathroom quick enough:D

Thanks but no thanks! ...

However, I would like to provide this analogy to ponder- while I would love to get a replacement iPhone, iPod, laptop if I droped it, I would not expect it.

As I mentioned in my post, I was mentally prepared to buy a new phone. Once they offered the replacement, I was not about to say, "No thank you :apple:, I want to give you more money! :p

I would have done the very same thing!!! If a store gives me too much change back I say something or if they charge me too little I usually say something, but replacing an iPHone...heck, I would take it in a millisecond!!:apple:

Enjoy the iPHone...while it lasts

Enjoy the case you put it in even more!:D

by the way, you MUST play the lottery today!!!! Luck like this doesn't last forever you know!
