In a research note with investment firm TF International Securities, obtained by MacRumors, Kuo said the iPhone 13 lineup will start with 128GB of storage, with no 64GB option for any models. Kuo added that the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will be available with up to 1TB of storage, which would be the largest capacity ever offered for an iPhone.

The exact storage capacity breakdown is as follows, according to Kuo:

iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 13
  • 128GB
  • 256GB
  • 512GB

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • 128GB
  • 256GB
  • 512GB
  • 1TB
For comparison:

iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max

Sweet! I’ll take the 1TB option, please. It looks like it’s pretty much confirmed at this point.

Most likely crossing the $1,600-$1,700 mark. o_O:eek:

Update: Last report before iPhone and Apple Watch is announce is out from the goat. Mr. Gurman.

I don’t have any feeling as to whether they will or they won’t, but I will be surprised if they give up the chance to expensively up-charge from the 64GB minimum.

I would think this would come with increased price for the non-Pro 13. If true, this would be 1 less thing to distinguish the Pro model from the non-Pro. In fact, it was a big reason I was going to go with the Pro. For me, the greater storagr combined with the other benefits justified the extra cost. Now I’ll have to really think about it unless the 13 goes up in price.

I feel like this means Apple will bump up the price of the 13 Pro and Pro Max by at least 50 bucks to maintain a (minimum) 200 dollar spread between the non pro and pro phones. It’s one way to justify the price increase by convincing people it’s because of the new ProMotion display etc.

Last year if you got 128 on your iPhone 12 then it was “only” 150 to go with the Pro.

It's nice they make 128gb base storage, but at this point i think they'll raise the prices of all of them this year.
Why? Memory is a thing that has gotten a lot cheaper. It’s technology. It’s like buying a blurry player now compared to when they first came out. Old tech gets cheaper.
what normally happens is a new better tech come out and replaces previous.

Despite what some rumors have been floating around, I do fear the prices of the Pro's will be raised ...thinking $100 compared to last year on most models. MAYBE the Mini, "regular" 13 models might stay the same? Just guessing of course.

(12 Pro Max 256 last year 1,199.00, 13 Pro Max 256GB this year $1,299.00)

*They will do it because...well they can - it will still sell. Plus blame on chip shortages. The classic supply & demand, ugh)

YES! Finally! 128GB should be base model all the way!

Ps: Who in the crazy world needs a 1TB phone in their pocket?
that camera, videos and photos at full options, will need crazy storage...and lets not forget a lot of apps are increasing in size by the year..
Better to have storage and not need it, than dont have it and need it
I bet you said that back in the days, for 128ssd when iphone 4 had back in the days 16/32ssd
