Glad to see you like it wobble. ?I’m more than ok with a little camera bump if needed for an even better quality camera. People seem to obsess over it, but it’s never really bothered me.
the perceived quality of the phots, maybe ... it's all part of Apple's computational photography, hence depending on a computer algorithm, driving the need for faster SOCs - that does not necessarily improve the quality.I think this is exactly what they’ll do. The quality of the photos will improve dramatically and be a huge feature of the Pro series.
Better detail in photos. Ability to crop and zoom. And what other advantages does the 48 mp camera have besides 8K video?
At what point does the thin camera designs of iPhones need to use larger sensors/better lenses to become equivalent of real pocket cameras? I wonder how much further we can go before the photography gains become nonexistent? Digital image processing can only benefit you so much.I don’t care about megapixels. I care about better-looking photos. They’re not the same.
not gonna happen for multiple versions to come, if everTo remove the bump and make the back flat again.
Well, even the Otterbox commuter case has to have a slight bump around that... 😓If you use a case (besides the very slim ones), the bump is pretty insignificant
and they want to stay there for more years with this 48->12 MP camIt's crazy how long it's been since Apple increased the MP on the iPhones. I know megapixels aren't everything but we've been at 12 for what feels like ages.
