Probably a new processor this year, which will make everything snappier and the battery life better. Possibly the addition of satellite comms as per the iPhone. Maybe a new finish. Definitely new band colours and options. An improved HR sensor.a more important question might be:
what can it do better than the first ultra — why should i upgrade…⁇ 🤔
Clearly you are not aware of How profit-thirst corporations can be.It’s never going to happen. This is a pointless line of discussion.
Yeah agreed on all points. It’s a big unit - I actually felt it larger on the wrist than my Fenix 7XSS. In saying that, I’m still buying it again this year haha (I sent it back after ten days first time around).I am a happy camper with my Ultra but would like to see a few changes.
I find the software to be a bit buggy as well to be frank, screen does weird stuff sometimes with notifications and such.
- Get rid of those beefy black borders in the screen
- Slightly slimmer with the same battery capacity
- reduce the crown area
But i would like to see the ultra get a bit reduced in fatness.
No more “bean to cup” it’s “spool to cup” lolApple Watch Ultra 2040:
Apple just sends you the watch plans and your print out your watch on your 3D printer that is next to your Kurieg 9000
I’ll be the first to admit that I have no firsthand knowledge of the process. Apple typically machines material, which is a subtractive process. 3D printing is nearly the opposite process and not a space I was aware Apple had a lot of experience designing for.Only if you don’t understand the process.
That’s fairLargest case in the Apple Watch range. It caters to the rotund perfectly well.
In the future, we just buy the license to 3D print Apple products ourselves.
Dope!
I have a Prusa Mini. I have to figure out what magical material that is! 😂
I didn’t mean that to sound the way it looks ahah! There are a great many super demanding applications that use titanium sintering and vacuum forming - the canards on the Eurofighter Typhoon, for example. It’s an incredibly precise method of producing parts that are impossible to create in any other way. I reckon that the process will be highlighted during the launch, if indeed it has been used.I’ll be the first to admit that I have no firsthand knowledge of the process.
