Oh, we are very similar ;)
I have brightness to 39% and Gamma to 2.2

I can't understand users who complain about the NITS specification being too low in general, because if I set the Kuycon to 100 brightness, I would eventually lose my retina completely!
That's not how it works.

For example, take a look at this night scene. The lamps might be mastered to 1000 nits yet the average of the entire scene might be below 100 nits.

A 1000 nit display would be able to show those lamps as intended, and would also show the differences between lights and objects at say 1000 nits and 500 nits, whereas a 400 nits display should show them all the same and dimmer, with details missing.

Yeah, pretty much the same idea with OLED screens. It has always been bright enough for me.
So actually I think this screen is too bright, even brighter than studio display.

Btw, how is a light bleed situation for you? I tested mine. It's pretty good, but I feel like both bottom corners do have a little bit.

I see you have both an M3 Max (TB4) and an M4 Max (TB5). Are you going to be using TB4 / DP1.4? If so, then you may run into that no-DSC / no-4:4:4 bug on the Kuycon.
Yeah, it’ll be a mix between the two (the M4 Max is a work machine, M3 Max is personal) so I probably will run into the no 4:4:4 bug, but that doesn’t overly concern me at the moment to be honest. Especially since I still plan to keep my ASD. But I do hope that bug gets fixed.

I wonder if the VESA stand from Kuycon would work on the LG 6K. They say it's built for the Pro Display XDR with VESA mount. I wonder if it needs a certain weight to work properly, because the LG is much lighter than the Pro Display XDR.

For those of you with the Kuycon, does the stand adjustment sprint to the top if not weighted? Also, how much height adjustability does it have?

No, it doesn't jump up on its own. You basically push the monitor to your preferred height and it stays there. Please correct me if I'm wrong, fellow Kuycon owners, but that's how I used the stand :)

The stand will be at the top before the monitor is installed. Most stands work that way to offset the monitor weight to or it would fall to the bottom
