I just saw this the other night... Not bad.

The new Bond is quite the hottie when he's topless! And I love the nice dark jeans paired w/ a nice coat look. Mm. But honestly, the highlight of that movie for me was the lady prancing in w/ her Agent Provocateur! Yaay! Go AP! Thanks, iGary for bringing this movie up, it was entertaining.

Actually edesign deserves the credit for posting the original beat down.

That's what made me get it.

Daniel Craig is yummy, though.

I just got a chance to watch this movie over the weekend.

It's awesome. I much prefer these kinds of movies to Hollywood films. I noticed someone mentioning Snatch, and Lock Stock. I really enjoyed Snatch too, so I'll definitely give Lock Stock a chance.

Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels is a lot like Snatch - almost too similar. Many of the same actors play different characters. But it is a fun movie to see.

I'm going to put L4yer Cake on my netflix queue....

Hmm, well thats a little disappointing. I wonder if my local video store will even have it though. L4yer Cake is great, I watched it again last night and enjoyed it a little more, I caught a bunch of subtle things I missed the first time, and Sienna Miller is jaw dropping. Great soundtrack too.

I thought that Lock Stock came out first... I liked it way more than Snatch. I guess I enjoy the dialogue more and whatnot. Plus, I felt like the use of irony was even more fun in Lock Stock. But you're right-- the two are very similar.

It was actually in a few movie theaters here in Los Angeles, I think.

Yay for Lock Stock! Wouldn't you agree that the dialogue is more witty, more engaging? I felt like I was more interested in the characters in Lock Stock versus with Snatch. Er, I don't remember much about Snatch except for some sort of 'gypsy' and boxing.

Snatch was ok....but, Brad Pitt as an Irish gypsy boxer doesn't really work for me.

Lock Stock was 10x better, there were so many really funny moments in it. Loved it when they were defending themselves with an air rifle I'll have to watch it again actually, haven't seen it in years!

and yes devilot Lock Stock is far more witty- he may be married to Madge but he seems to have the same fallibility she has regarding films. Snatch is a bore fest from start to finish.

Rory? Yeah I know Rory. He's not to be underestimated, you've got to look past the hair and the cute, cuddly thing - it's all a deceptive facade. A few nights ago Rory's Roger iron's rusted, so he's gone to the local battle-cruiser to catch the end of his footer. Nobody is watching the custard so he turns the channel over. A fat man's north opens and he wanders over and turns the Liza over. 'Now **** off and watch it somewhere else.' Rory knows claret is imminent, but he doesn't want to miss the end of the game; so, calm as a coma, he stands and picks up a fire extinguisher and he walks straight past the jam rolls who are ready for action, then he plonks it outside the entrance. He then orders an Aristotle of the most ping pong tiddly in the nuclear sub and switches back to his footer. 'That's ****ing it,' says the guy. 'That's ****ing what' says Rory. Rory gobs out a mouthful of booze covering fatty; he then flicks a flaming match into his bird's nest and the man's lit up like a leaky gas pipe. Rory, unfazed, turned back to his game. His team's won too. Four-nil

finally rented l4yer cake last night... it had been on my list for sometime after seeing a trailer... the weather in dc has been disgusting, so i holed up in my apartment with some sushi and the movie.

loved it! thought it was the best movie i'd seen in a while.

I liked Snatch and Lock Stock equally I think...though I'm giving the edge to Snatch because of Jason Statham and Alan Ford.
