That's NOTHING!

Ask them what happened in Hawaii when Steve rolled out the Mac!
NOW THAT WAS A REAL PARTY! (I was there)

It was a permanent ban, not a 30 year ban.

It ended 30 years later only because the hotel changed ownership/management, and the new powers-that-be decided to lift it, not because it "expired".

The wording makes it seem as if it was originally intended to last 30 years. It was intended to be permanent.

Thanks, that makes more sense. Otherwise, it sounds like the hotel was uncannily organised and prepared for incident like this..

Hotel Policy:
Ban per Bonfire: 10 years.
Ban per Skinny Dipping: 1 year per wiener on display x 20 wieners = 20 years.
Ban per Sex in Lobby: n/a for computer nerds.

Total Ban(to be presented on checkout)
30 years.

Thank you for your business. We hope to have your business again in 2013.

They should celebrate the 30th anniversary of this event and the upcoming release of iWatch and iTV in the same way as they did it 30 years ago. And get banned for the next 30 years, then return and repeat. That'd be a great tradition! :)

There ain't no party, like a west coast party
'Cause a west coast party don't stop!

Down the coast from Carmel, at an unnamed famous resort, some nerds were drinking $5000 bottles of wine (multiple) and one of them danced on the top of a hybrid Lexus to the extent that it was totaled. The sheriff deputies made an arrest, but later money changed hands and all was well.

if you saw a couple of naked nerds skinny dipping, you would've probably banned them for 30 years also.
