Hi, I bought the 42mm from the get go and love it! I have a tiny wrist, but I've always loved the bigger watches and they are easier to read. :) You will get used to the look of it on your wrist. If you want to see some pics of mine on my wrist, I'm sure you could search my posts and find some. Good luck with your choice!

Posting here since it's where all the Apple watch ladies are. :)

I have an original Apple watch and a few bands (although I almost always wear the white sport band). I'm planning on ordering a new Series 3, but I'm debating a switch up to the 42mm. I don't really have a big problem with the 38mm, but some more screen real estate sure sounds nice. I did go to the Apple store and try it on and it looked and felt maybe a little bulky, but definitely not crazy big. It's definitely a bit more of a statement than the smaller watch. I would sure hate to make the change and then regret it though.

Has anyone made this switch and can offer some insight? Anyone with regrets?

I bought a 42mm SS from the beginning (wanting a bigger screen--vision no longer the same when I was younger) so can't offer a comparison but I haven't regretted it.

I have actually. :)

I do like how the 42 looks on her. Im curious to see if she actually goes back to a 38. I think she'd have a hard time moving to the smaller screen actually. Too bad Apple doesn't make that band in a 42mm. I am coveting that Nike band she is wearing in the video.
I think she has already ordered the 42 in the new ceramic in gray. Yes, her Ceramic white watch looks good with the Nike band.

I had bought a band for my Apple Watch a few days ago, and i think i must share it with you! I’m really falling love in love with its special design, which looks fashion and elegant, also install and remove conveniently. I can even adjust the size by myself easily. It also have case with it that i can save extra money. I think you 'll love it !

Looks really nice, but how can the same band/case fit both the 38 and 42mm watch?

Hey all! Do any of you wear the SS Milanese loop regularly, including casually? My day to day dress is fairly casual and I'm wondering if it'd look okay with casual clothing or if it'd be a little too much given the polished finish.

My other option is a black classic buckle (I like that it works casually or dressed up) but I also like the infinite adjustments of the Milanese loop.

Oh sorry, I mean adjust the length. It was sold by two sizes.

Not at all. Its connector can be took apart easily, just like the pics i show.

When I looked at it on Amazon, it didn't show two sizes. Edit** I found the little tiny button where you opt for size. So I bought one. Can't hurt, right?!

The Milanese is not too dressy for daily wear. It's one of those things that can be dressy or casual (but not sporty).

Thank you! I wasn't sure if it'd work with jeans and a top/tee or a casual dress or if it would look out of place in such casual outfits. Thanks so much :)

It is possible, given the unavailability of the Modern buckle in black (not to mention the price drop by $100 us), that Apple is discontinuing this style. I tried to get information from Apple but the reps I spoke to had no information. Just in case you’ve been on the fence and want a black Modern buckle in small or medium, Best Buy (USA) has these in stock and will price match. European Apple stores seem to have them in stock too.

This is just an FYI as I have no idea whether they are discontinued...just the fact that the black in small and medium don’t even show up as a future delivery makes me suspicious.

$22, down from $60!! I just saw that someone had this band in an earlier post, but didn't want to pay $60 for it. They have Light Brown and Saddle Vintage for the same price. :)

I am going to get my first aw soon and this post makes me need to understand sizing. It says length is 120/80 I think, so what does that mean exactly? Is that just the band I guess, so how much does the watch body itself measure or what size wrist will this fit? My wrist measures about 170mm. Appreciate sizing tips!

I'm guessing the measurements refer to the two band pieces, the shorter one with the buckle. Add that to the Apple Watch case size quoted: 42mm, you get the total length of about 240mm. So you got around 70mm of overlap.

Make sure you pick the right versions to suit the 42mm or 38mm Apple Watch.

I posted once but I’m new here :). I’m going to now go back and view all the posts looking for photos. It’s so fun to see posts from women. I got the 38mm today, my first ever aw. I got space gray and think it will look great with all colors.. I’m thinking my first extra band so be a nylon one for walking in? The sport band got a bit sweaty on its first walk. :)

I bought this band today. It hasn’t arrived yet. Anyone bought anything from this site? I am looking for fun different bands! I bought the silver to wear with my space gray 42.

That silver is going to look great and be so fun! I looked at bands in Best Buy today and they had a couple I wanted, but I’m supposed to be grounded financially hehe. I did put a silver Milanese on my space gray and love it. Post a photo when you get that band on!

I sure will!

Does anyone know if HOCO is out of business? I can’t find their bands anymore:(.

Got my new purple leather band. I like it so far:). Sorry about the ugly wrist pic...it is from using my crutches...had my wrist in the wrong spot.

Anyone know of a nice gold/silver combination (two-tone) band to go with my 38mm Stainless Steel Apple Watch?

A member on another thread posted the detail look of the pink sand loop, I personally really like it with the gold watch case.
I wonder if anyone has experience with the sport loop material, and is it comfortable to wear?
Thank you

I have two sport loops and they are very comfy. I am not sure how I would like them for wearing in the shower or pool though...they don’t seem very sporty for dealing with sweat either. I wonder about how they will last with frequent gym visits. Hasn’t been an issue yet for me since my foot is broken!;)

Try it. It may surprise you how well it holds up after a shower. Someone else posted swimming in the ocean with it, and just rinsing it off afterwards.

I’ll try it in the shower first since I can’t swim right now. It would be cool if it worked okay in water. I just didn’t want to wear something wet around all day afterward!;)
