I don't know what my vision is but the 9.7 pro i have is noticeably more pixelated than the iPad mini when held at the same distance. Especially on a site like this with text you can see the jagged letters on the 9.7.

My Apple stores do not have any 9.7 iPad Pro is in stock. From my understanding, Apple typically liquidates any remaining to third-party retailers, which will discount them and sell them at their price point.

I currently have a 1st gen 12.9" iPad Pro and the screen is great, i'm looking forward to upgrading to either the 10.5" or the 12.9" i'm not sure which one yet. The 120hz screen is being overlooked here, add that to the brighter 600 nits and the lower 1.8 reflectivity and it is a great screen.

Adding to that the IOS 11 features for the iPad and the 512GB storage option and we have a laptop replacement for many people. Apple did a great upgrade to the iPad's and it is one of the stand-out moments of WWDC 2017.

I will be interested to do a comparison of screen brightness with my 2015 12.9. The screen upgrades seem to be pretty significant, even if the 10.5 resolution is a little disappointing

Old thread I know, and most likely anyone interested in iPad Pro 10.5 would know but to clarify for anybody who doesn't know about the RAM, the iPad Pro 10.5 has 4GB of RAM, just like the 12.9.

Edit: just saw above where RAM was confirmed to be 4GB
