I use a mac but I will be switching to PC due to my line of work. Macs are great but support for enterprise applications is slim to none. High end windows notebooks are actually priced the same as a Mac, yes I know I can use virtualization software on my mac to run my PC applications but the software I use drives my Mac's processor to the max while it runs very nicely on a PC.

that parody is stupid, but the microsoft commercials are already stupid. they just really take advantage of the ignorance of most consumers.

Which is the whole point of a commercial! To make ignorant consumers want your product by taking advantage of them.

While I'm here, why is the homeless person, usually depicted with mannerisms that reflect mental illness, such a stooge of US comedy? British humour tends to celebrate the qualities of the underdog; American media tends to view "the poor" either with contempt or as a target for patronising charity.

For the simple and good reason that mental illness is extremely prevalent in the homeless people compared to the general population.

...

maybe the difference is less important in the British population :D

If you run it in bootcamp, you won't have any problems since it's not virtualization. From what I've read, macs run windows better than windows pcs. I have not been especially impressed with any virtualization software, I agree.
