Looking at the pic you can imagine what it might be like to use -
- too hard to hold in one hand, especially when touching the opposite corner or without your thumb tripping the touchscreen (one's grip will have to change for a bigger device)
- "Oh just let me lay this down here" *sweeps absolutely everything off the coffee table* "there we go"
- too giant to take anywhere

Maybe Apple will make one, and I'll use it, and change my mind. As it stands, I fail to see the advantages for anybody, though perhaps someone can change my mind.

Want a big screen for viewing movies? Output to your TV
Want to read a document? Nobody complains that magazines are just too small for their content
Want something to take on the go? Forget this
Absolutely have to have multiple programs open side-by-side to do work? Apple is still trickling out a handful of traditional computers and an OS for you, IIRC

I can see tablets maybe going up to 12.9" area max ..... but after that we are more so looking at touchscreen computers and laptops rather than tablets.

I'd love to have a 12-13" tablet especially with 2048x1536 resolution. 10" is just plain too small.

10" is too small? You must really like them big ;) but seriously, an iPad bigger than 10 inches would be so stupid. People bitch about how it's too heavy now, it would be 50% heavier if it was 15 inches. Plus they'd have to make apps for the big iPad too and then ones for the normal sized one.

It could happen in the long run if iOS continues to expand.

I doubt it. Just because iOS expands doesn't mean the screen size has too. If anything, I think we'll see an increase in memory....

I think a great size option for the ipad would be the size of a magazine open to double page. A 15" ipad would be slightly smaller than this and I believe, perfect. I'm not saying replace the current model obvsly.

It's never been a problem holding an open magazine so I don't see why it wouldn't work. An iPad actually weighs less than alot of magazines I work for and read. 15" laptops have never been a problem for people either so it would just fit right to peoples lives I believe.

For magazine and newspaper reading I really believe 15" is perfect and I really see this market being replaced by the ipad in the near future.

It's a MEGA industry and parallels the music industry, perhaps even more as there are far more newsagents then there are music stores even in the day of music stores being prolific.
