It's the same strategy they applied to the iPad mini, so why not? Makes a lot of sense imo.

THe elements would be way too big for an iPhone. Just think about it. The iPad mini would have smaller elements than an iPhone 6 yet it would have a larger screen and be held farther from the face. If they make an iPhone 6 with a larger screen, they will have to choose a new resolution and keep the same size elements.

It's not the end of the world. Developers have had to deal with it before, and they were happy to do it because iOS devices are so popular they'd be crazy to fold their arms and refuse to do it. With very few exceptions, an app that was made properly in the first place can be remodeled to any new resolution with relative ease.

Good point, but a larger iPhone without bigger elements would be useless imo, so you would always get to the point where the iPad mini has smaller elements than the bigger iPhone.

4.9", awfully close to the 4.94" I predicted.

Yeah I know, it doesn't take a genius to figure out the 4.94" dimension, but given the criticism I've experienced in this thread lots of people don't or didn't agree with me.

Let's see.

It's the same with a bigger screened iPhone. People have been saying one is on the horizon for years, but so far there hasn't been any solid information to indicate there's anything in the works.

Except when we got those bigger screened iPhones a few years back. :roll eyes:

I won't get into all the numbers and that, 'cause it's not my place. I will say; I want a bigger iPhone. Most iPhone users that I know personally also want a bigger display. IDK what dimensions I'd want, but thats beside the point.

Also; Don't feed the troll.
