I think one fo the problem is the fan managment of my MBP react too slowly to the temperature change. the CPU throttles alot when the CPU is extremly hot, but the fan is not speeding up.... Even it spins up, it seems not to have the ability to cool down the CPU

I think i will call apple today and see how they responce

here is a log, of my runnign prime 95, and u can see the throttling apeears so frequently during the first part of the log, but then when the fan kicks in, is better, but not really solving the throttling problem, BTW, is not overclocked, so please everyone who own a MBP, try to do this test.

DAAAAAAAVE, that does not yet support the Aluminum Unibody MB/MBP's, it's been discussed in a number of threads.

Guys, just called apple, and gone for an replacement.

The computer has two slight dent, like 1mm dent, and a loose battery cover. But as it has a no dead pixel screen and fantastic backlight, so i live with it, but now i found out that it actually overheat itself even in MacOSX 107'C. I don't except that. Called apple UK today, within 5 minutes, she agreed on sending a replacement unit to me.

Question. Do i get a new email notification straight after i have my replacement sorted? or do i need to wait 24 hours?

Sure makes for a quiet machine though doesn't it? When you get your replacement run two instances of "yes > /dev/null" in Terminal on the OS X side and monitor the temperature and fan speed. Take note when it finally starts to throttle up.

Sure i will compare two MBP, also, my current superdrive in my MBP is super noisy when it try to suck the CD inside.

Fingers crossed i got a perfect MBP in 2 weeks time. Apple say they are going to ship my MBP in 4 business days.
