Late August, Early September rMBP purchasers: satisfied? Screen?

I thought I'd give the rMBP another try this time as I'm preparing to move on after school and mobility is more important than ever.

Just curious about the latest buyers/exchanges:

1) Have you gotten a Samsung screen? Or an LG?

2) Is the screen flawless? Or still problematic?

3) Are you noticing massive issues with battery life?

4) Are you noticing significant lag in any scenario?

1. LG

2. Flawless - Passed all the tests (IR, etc...) without problem

3. Nope.

4. I do notice lag in Mission Control (Spaces - I have eight that flip back and forth)

2) Flawless
3) Seems OK - not really 7 hours but good enough
4) Nothing that bothers me even a little bit. My old dell lagged like crazy on Facebook. I didn't even notice it till all the fuss about the rMBP. The rMBP is so much better

All in all I am crazy about this thing. It is magnificent!

Starts to get IR issue after 2, 3 days. Actually getting worse.

Arranged for refund.

I have to say Apple are very easy to deal with for refund/exchange. They even sent me a coupon for $15 off $100 purchase.

4) Are you noticing significant lag in any scenario?.... Some issues with Safari, but nothing else

Mine is a week 29 ( July ) build. Love my rMBP!!!

Photos won't really show the black level... since it's black either way. I tried.

I must admit though, past 50% brightness, I can start to see some hint of a blue tint in black areas, but it's quite hard to see until max brightness. If I'm in good lighting, it's impossible to notice either way.

You're bang on - Photos cannot show the black level - I tried it too.

What about black going into blue in a dark room/by night. If I'm in a dark room and looking at a black test picture, then with level 3 I can already see that the black is going into blue (compared to the black bezel).

Thanks for the update guys. Have another rMBP arriving shortly. My first had no screen issues either (didn't check the display maker) but ultimately returned it waiting for customized CPU and RAM options.
