Whoever posted Thrice, bravo; I wholeheartedly approve. The last physical CD I picked up was Coheed and Cambria's 'No World For Tomorrow', a solid effort from the NY boys.

Still very angry i have to pay £40 to get it in proper quality :(
Another audio snob? Don't worry everything I listen to has to be lossless or 320 bit rate.

The John Bulter Trio - Live at St. Gallen

Loving it :D I've bought loadsa music recently, including a vinyl pressing of OK Computer...

Jamesarm97: thanks for posting that Gahan has a new album out. I may have to pick it up. Always loved his sound.

No problem. I think it is his best one yet (a little darker sounding) and better than a lot of the Depeche Mode CD's.

- James

Last one I bought was Gov't Mule - The Deepest End Live.
Smoking 2cd set, with a DVD of the show also.
Warren Haynes is a monster Slide Guitar Player & there are guest appearances by:
Les Claypool (Primus), Jayson Newstead (Former Metallica, Flotsam & Jetsam), Los Lobos, Jack Cassidy (Hot Tuna, Jefferson Starship) ,
Roger Glover (Deep Purple), Will Lee, Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), Rob Wasserman, Victor Wooten,
Mike Gordon (Phish), Bela Fleck, Sonny Landreth
Ivan Neville (It was filmed in Now Orleans Pre Katrina, so a Neville was mandatory), The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and last but not least, Bernie Worrell (Parlaiment Funkadelic).

TOTAL PACKAGE TIME OF 6 HOURS & 4 MINUTES!
Highly Recommend checking it out.

Wow, what a list! I love the DDBB! And Bela Fleck, and Les Claypool, and Jason Newstead, and Victor Wooten, and P-Funk...
And I'll be ordering Underworld Oblivion With Bells from play.com or Amazon (depending on who is cheapest) this weekend, as you need to encode in Loseless to appreciate Mr Hyde & Mr Smith at their finest. ;)

I pre-ordered that one and got the special CD/DVD combo. It's great album (and also the latest one that I've purchased.)

Röyksopp - The Understanding.
Royksopp.jpg

Pure love.

WHAT? £40 for a CD! No wonder the music industry is dying because of piracy with prices like that!

you realise this was the album where you could pay whatever you wanted? Radiohead geeks (woop!) opted for the discbox, the £40 version containing vinyl, cd, bonus tracks...the whole shabang. In fact the album attempted to target piracy, an online honesty box if you will.

My last album I bought:

Closer by Joy Division...geees am I depressed now :( :p

Ohhhh, I didn't know there was another one. Cheers Jaffa.
I didn't realise myself until I saw a poster ad for it in the railway station. It's a hell of a lot better than the recent Established 1967 album which I was very disappointed with – at had a handful of good covers on it but the majority were poor. Don't get me started on McFly murdering Town Called Malice. :p

Last I bought was Jon McLaughlin - Indiana

But I got the new Jimmy Eat World from my brother.

Both are great!

The Spill Canvas - No Really, I'm Fine
Pretty good album, I have enjoyed the previous releases too. Been listening since before Sunsets and Car Crashes.

In Rainbows.

Still very angry i have to pay £40 to get it in proper quality :(

It'll be released as a standard CD release next year... which is when I shall buy it.

Last album I purchased, but haven't received yet, is: Dribble it On by Momma Gravy (rare and second-hand import)

Last CD that I bought was Camera Obscura- Let's Get Out of This Country.
It's a pretty good album. I definitely reccomend; Lloyd I'm ready to be heartbroken,Let's Get Out of This Country, and Country Mile. The best songs on the album imo.:apple:

The last CD I bought was Rilo Kiley - Under the Blacklight. Not as good as their previous works, but they're still my favourite band. I'm still in awe.

Sigh, how am I supposed to know what I want to buy now that OiNK is no more? :(

Electric Six - I Shall Exterminate Everything Around Me That Restricts Me From Being the Master:)

Very different, but I like it.

Beirut - The Flying Club Cup, its taken me by the scruff of the neck and won't let me listen to anything else! Superb, Gorgeously textured, like being in a bath full of warm gravy.

In Rainbows manages to sneak its way on too, Reckoner is just awesome.

It depends... For personal use, it's either

a) "Dark Passion Play" by Nightwish

or

b) "In Rainbows" by Radiohead

I'm not sure which I bought last for me. But if we exclude personal use, then it's "Dark Passion Play", since I re-bought it some time ago for a friend of mine. "In Rainbows" was download, "Dark Passion Play" was bought on CD.

Either way: "Dark Passion Play" is an absolutely superb album! "In Rainbows" is great as well, excellent commute-music :).
