Unhealthy compulsions like that are why people at Apple removed it in the first place. As influence there changes over time, you see things like this creep back into the products.

Yes, when the bar is above 25% who cares what the number is.

For the most part you shouldn't care, which is why it is the way it has been for several years. Changing that now is a step backward.

I use my iphone mostly as a phone and text messaging. If backup is that critical, you need to back up regularly to a computer or ensure iCloud is not flaking out once in a while.

They fixed the search in b6. It used to rarely show the suggestions/previous searched apps. Just had blank screen with search box they also fixed bug that affected certain apps where the main screen was squished to the left side of screen. SXM app had this malady very bad. I am all for good bug fixes. Although still holding out for being able to assign diff sounds to certain notifications …
