So pleased it got updated. This is all I use for texting. Rarely use messages

Just give me proper WhatsApp support for the iPad, Apple Watch and MacOS (why this isn't a thing mystifies me) as it works with 3rd party apps... they just are a bit naff compared to the proper iPhone app.

WhatsApp offers a macOS app. It's not a "real" app, just seems to be the web version, framed in a window. But nevertheless, it works. There's an alternative called ChatMate for WhatsApp, it costs 3 bucks or something and adds Dark Mode in macOS Mojave.
