It's a good upgrade from the iPhone 4

Faster, EE 3G/4g is super fast compared the the 3G on the iPhone 4

and it's so light!

The screen increase really makes a difference. My 4S feels short and chubby now :D Overall the performance boost is amazing. Everything works better and faster, and it makes a difference in my workflow.

Side note: I'm starting to hate and avoid apps that are not updated for the new screen. Anybody else?

Upgraded and couldn't be happier that I cancelled my pre-order and got it at the store, before the weekend started. This phone is super fast there is no denying that. LTE is fast and the phone runs fast.

Very happy with my Verizon iPhone 5. The black is slick and I'm liking it better than my white 4S. LTE alone has made the upgrade worth it, but the thinness of the 5 also really nice. Overall performance is quicker as expected. Completely satisfied here.

Coming from Android, I was initially a little dissapointed, and felt some buyers remorse.

But this weekend I really got some time with why I love iOS. So many games at my disposal, and it was nice hitting 5 oclock and my battery not being dead. I also really like toggling my music player at the bottom of the screen.

AT&T LTE FTW here in San Antonio!

What kind of thread is this? What do you expect me to say? It was like every other weekend, but my phone happens to be new. I biked, I hung out with friends, etc. Nothing special. THE WEEKEND WAS LIKE EVERY OTHER ****ING WEEKEND. /thread

I must admit that I made quite a few posts about what a stupid idea I thought making it taller and not wider was. I wasn't going to get one, but dang that Jony Ive, I watched the promo video, and he made me want one. I went to my local AT&T store and bought one on Friday and I'm diggin' it. I actually like the screen a lot. I'm coming from a Galaxy S2 and my first reaction was, man this thing is dinky and skinny, but after a few hours of use, I really like it.

I also just couldn't buy into this idea that the screen size was better for watching video. I though "who watches movies on their phone". But I'll be darned if I didn't watch Avatar on mine for a while and actually found it to be a pretty decent experience.

This thing is blazing fast as well.

Curse you Apple! You got me again. :D

I'm liking the LTE on AT&T. It actually works in Manhattan and I'm finally getting decent cellular download speeds (in the 10-12Mbps range).

I'm already used to the bigger screen and can't wait for the apps to be upgraded.

The only downside is that my Sena sleeve for my iPhone 4S is too short and a little too wide, and the new sleeve won't arrive until mid- to late-October. I don't use a case, but do like to have it in a sleeve to prevent scratching from items in a pocket or bag.

The phone is great. Love the lte speed and fast phone overall. I came from a galaxy nexus and it was too big for my taste now that's why I miss how compact the iphone is. My friend was annoying since he hates apple and kept saying what's new about it and how you have to sync to itunes. Calling me a trader. It's just a phone guys lol. I went through 3 android phones and never had a problem with them but I just want to take a break from android and use the iphone again.

I'm currently thinking of switching back to the 4S mainly due to battery issues (iPhone 5 is significantly worse). Also, I do prefer the iPhone 4S design, thickness and substantial feeling weight.

However, the screen is beautiful, not the size because I actually prefer the 3.5' nicely proportioned screen of the 4S, but the colours are amazing, full sRGB is incredible and I think will be hard to go back from.

Sadly my first weekend with the phone involved mostly charging it, multiple times per day. My main wish is that Apple hadn't removed that extra mm from the back of the phone and had used it to increase the battery life instead.

Came up from a launch day Verizon 4 and I can't believe the speed in this thing. LTE is unbelievable. The phone seems to have a longer than usual time finding my carrier at launch. The larger screen helps, but I'm not THAT impressed. Lightning charger does seems to charge the phone quicker, and battery life is okay. It came to be near flawless, and I wrapped it up with a PCU case, so no scratches or scuffs so far. Don't like the maps, but that's a work in progress, and don't like the you tube app.

Weird my IPhone 5 has significantly better battery life then my 4S. I've only charged my IPhone twice since Friday morning and in still at 63%!

My phone was great, I couldn't put the phone down, made the wifey crazy! But yeah, battery, screen, no damage, flawless phone. Coulnd't ask for more!

It's a nice upgrade from the iPhone 4. Nobody's asked me about it or even noticed.

That's interesting, I had a bunch of people notice. it was super annoying, people kept wanting to see it. I will switch places with you.

A clerk at crate and barrel wouldn't leave me alone. Kept asking questions.

Same on the battery life for me. My iPhone 5 way seems much better than the 4S.

They had me at LTE

I upgraded from the 4S, and I love the iPhone 5. I don't want to put it down because I love how it feels in my hand. The lightness and thinness are terrific as is the build quality. The extra screen real estate is wonderful for everything. I'm looking forward to all (most) apps being updated for the 4" screen.

LTE is the killer feature for me. On the 4S, the 3G speed in my office was almost unusable. On the iPhone 5, I'm getting around 14mb down and 6mb up. Around town, I get anywhere from 15mb to 40mb down and 20mb to 25mb up. I'm getting battery life on par with the 4S which I find to be good.

I got the black model, and I love how much more sleek it looks to me.

I'm very happy with the purchase.

He's asking how the Phone performed over the weekend. Not what you normally do.

Busy doing iPhone 4 backup then transferring all my data. But basically loving having a new iPhone (had 4 since day one).
Then today at work got really concerned when everybody wants to give it a try.
Don't touch my iPhone!
