I have a feeling it's going to be an absolute dumpster fire of a launch next year.
Should we assume that it's in Pacific time? (12AM)
Angela does it again! Pay her more millions!
I would like to know the same. And if none has been received, when do you think we should get notification. My black 7+ has a ship date of Oct 3rd - 10th. Has anyone gotten upgraded shipping times with initial October 3rd dates?
I was at the store in Nashua, New Hampshire, and there was one guy with a jet black and that was the first one the staff had seen, none on display. I guess is supplies are constrained they're not going to use them up as display models?I actually don't think apple has many of these jet black models built. stores here in london didn't even have them on display!
Yeah, it seems crazy how many people are into plus sizes.Mine is preordered but I went with a friend to check the morning lines and when Apple said there were no Plus models the line shrank 60%.
Checked the Verizon store and that line vanished completely after they announced no Plus models.
I am really more pissed about the fact that I got up on the preorder date and had 3 devices going and none couldn't get on the site until about 9 to 10 minutes after 3AM Eastern time and then by the time I complete my order in 2-3 minutes it was delayed to 2-3 weeks for shipping. I am stuck with an iPhone 5 that screen shuts off around 20-30% and the Mophie battery case I have does not help. Just got the case a month or two ago.To the people telling them to ramp up production sooner: If they did that people would be complaining about Apple hoarding stock for an unnecessarily long time prior to launch. Or they could push back the launch date next year by a month to have more units ready. See, they can't get it right in some people's eyes no matter what they do.
I'm pretty sure that anyone with a 5s or better can still enjoy a decent experience with iOS 10 while they wait for their new phone to arrive.
I haven't put iOS 10 on my 6s yet as I wanted to wait to see if there were any major bugs, but on my old (spare) 5s 32gb iOS 10 runs great.
Now, for people still rocking 4, 4s, and to an extent 5 and 5c I can see why they would be a little put out by having to wait yet another month for a new device. I expect getting by on those older devices, especially the 4 and 4s, may be pretty rage inducing and require a massive amount of patience with modern apps and OSes loaded on.

Cool story bro...tell it again.Have to give it up for Apple Store Americana (Glendale, CA)! I had an 8am reservation, but they also couldn't find the phone. Apparently the shipment they were expecting was late. No worries from me, the manager calmly explained it to me and took my info with a promise to call me when it arrived, and comped my new leather 7+ case on the spot. I walked to the local coffee bean and less than 15min later he called to say it had arrived. Walked right back and was out the door 15min later with my 7+ and a free leather case.
Great service, you just have to be nice!

Obviously they're doomed...What the hell is going on with in store availability? The lack of inventory might be the worst of any iPhone launch in recent memory.
another year, another man-made supply restrain
I know there was rumours prior to the launch that supply constraints of the iPhone 7 was a very realistic possibility. The question is, how much of this is all really high demand, or, just unusually low supply.
