Not quite sure about those who are saying they shouldn't...I don't really think I've seen more than perhaps one post to that effect though. The reasoning there is that they would prefer if widgets stay true to their original purpose, which is more informational in nature than anything else, and don't end up becoming mini apps. That said, since it's in the hands of the users as to what they want to use there or not, it's not really an issue since those who don't want to can simply not use widgets of that type.I didn't fly blind into iOS. Its hard, after all, to stay ignorant about the things Apple does. But, again, I'm not talking about what Apple's doing.
I'm talking about its defenders. What are THEY thinking? Apple reversed the call, yet these people are saying they shouldn't. What's up with that?
