The iPod is doing very well in many professional fields (like medical) where adding a camera to the device would immediately kill the entire market. Apple doesn't need a camera to promote it as a gaming device for now. So it was pulled.

I do not buy that. the Nintendo DSi has two cameras, and there games on DSi that utilize the camera.

The ipod is pointless if you can't make calls on it.

I have been making calls on my iPod touch with Skype. I for one do not want to pay Att $70 - 80 a month to use an iphone

Changed plans, or they really did face the rumored manufacturing problems and had to postpone the iPod Touch with camera. I just don't buy the "focus on games" line Steve squirted out on CNBC.

The camera was obviously removed because of technical difficulties,but do you people think an ipod touch with camera may be released soon? I want one but im afraid of buying it now and that in 2 months or so a new ipod touch with camera is released.
