Two tone matte and glossy back? You're not going to see that on the real iPhone 5.

Looks as though someone has taken a Sharpie to a 4s. I'm not a fan on the body coloured sides, I prefer the current aluminium.

Gizmodo just had those up for a little while until they silently removed the post about those pictures altogether. I can't see a reason they would do this other than Apple forcing them to, which would mean they're real.

The pictures were removed because they are high definition renders based on information in previous leaks. The pictures originated from a Flickr user, and the set was modelled in*Rhinoceros 3D.

I would def buy that!!! Regardless of its fake or not I think with the way it's designed people who bought the white 4 or 4S will be going back to black!..I know I will!!

Call me crazy, but if you're getting the new phone in August, might as well wait the 1-2 months with your HTC Desire and get the new iPhone??? I don't know . . . that's just what I would do O.O

Ah but you see in the States it works like that.

Over here in this 3rd world country - we have to wait until December before the new iPhone will be in the country. Then it will only be available on Vodacom (Which I am not on) - then I have to wait another 2 to 3 months before it is on my network ( MTN ).

I refuse to move to Vodacom as their network sucks big monkey balls.

So I am look at waiting around 8 months before I can get the new phone - by then, like it it is now - a newer phone will be due for release...see the problem?

So, I grab the iPhone 4s - and come 2014, I grab whatever the newest iPhone is out then.

I'm OK with that. And no, you're not crazy.

If these photos are even remotely close to the final product, I think it looks great. I like the dark color band around the phone, not the blingy silver they have now, and of course the much needed larger screen size, and get away from the wristwatch sized 3.5" screen. Now they just need a new iOS, with new UI and Widgets, iOS6 is nothing new, more like iOS5.5 at best.

if these are real i dont undertand why make the phone bigger when they can eliminate some of the bezel.... now its bigger with the same bezel.

I can dig it, but honestly I don't really care what the back of the phone looks like. There's no chance in hell I'm going to carry an iPhone without a case - just like 95+ % of all iPhone users out there. Sure it should look good, but form should follow function in a phone.

I like this new back, and will be using a clear case like I do with my 4 now :).

Have always been using clear cases since the first generation iPhone.

the leaks are real and from apple. but that will not be the next iphone.

the leaked components are all part of apples "doubling down on secrecy". apple is leaking fake parts to suppliers with subtle and unique identifiers so they can determine where a leak sprouted and deal with the specific culprit when that uniquely traceable apple-leaked fake gets leaked to the rumor sites. (that and to distract us)

no real knowledge that this is the case, just a hopeful guess. the leaks look apple'ish, credible'ish, but definitely not ten star, knock your socks off design. a taller iphone seems so unlikely.. apple is obviously trying to distract us and catch the leakers. there will be true surprises when the the real next iphone is announced.

I like it. So far, of all the most recent leaked photos posted here at MacRu, I approve of this design. I like the pairing of Matte with Semi-Gloss. Even though, it still resembles a 4/4S, I actually like it and see this design as more of a color choice to the current design/colors.

or just buy a phone and return it before the return date. if its 30 days just try out two different phones in the meantime then get the new phone.
