I wonder if the Radio app not being available on the Apple Watch series zero, one and two is a hardware related issue or a marketing stratagey?
Given that there is an iHeartRadio app for the Watch... it's marketing.

I don't think its coming back/ Not anytime soon that is. I'm still surprised how almost no tech websites/channels have discussed this.
Not sure what you guys are doing but I'm on the 4.1 and I can control my entire iCloud music library from the watch. Open music app, scroll to top and open library, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs all there.
But not your local library? Not sure what you guys are doing but I'm on the 4.1 and I can control my entire iCloud music library from the watch. Open music app, scroll to top and open library, Playlists, Artists, Albums, Songs all there.
Doesn't show all the music on your phone. Used to have the option of switching between watch and phone as music source, and then controlling whichever you selected. Was excellent and now sorely missed.
By local do you mean on the watch? You can access that all from the music app on the watch. Use the iPhone to choose which music should be synched. Don't think there is a limit anymore. But not your local library?
I mean the library on my Mac. I can stream music from it on my AW3 on watchOS4, but only skip, pause and play the current song, not browse the library anymore (this was still possible under watchOS3?).I thought this as well but you can open the "now playing" feature via the bottom side button app switcher and then select either iPhone or Watch

Actually just playing with it now I see what you mean. You cant see all the iPhone music and control it via the watch. You can control the iPhone music volume, pause fast forward etc only.

oh thank GOD! I thought I was going crazy or my watch was going bad!

Thank goodness. I thought something was just wrong with my wrist...
It is really a great feature to be able to control iTunes through the watch, but my library does not contain only one album/playlist... And even then, on watchOS4 I am not even able to chose the next song from the playlist freely but instead I have to skip to it. I don't really want to be forced to stream via iCloud (I don't even use iCloud Music) to be able to see my whole library when I am at home and actually could have access to my locally stored music at my computer.Actually just playing with it now I see what you mean. All my play lists I have stored locally on my watch work perfectly. This doesn’t seem as big an issue as people want it/are making it out to beYea! But...
...that's why it probably is gone?
I donm't believe iheartradio will stream though will it? By this I mean, I need my iphone streaming the audio and it's just an iheartradio controller? I could be wrong here.Given that there is an iHeartRadio app for the Watch... it's marketing.

I totally understand this and this is most likely the reason why the feature to control ur music with a watch was left out. HOWEVER why not have a toggle in watch settings (or phone) with default OFF and anyone who wants this feature can turn it ON...With all the confusion around this I can understand why Apple removed the function. I've read that many people didn't understand if music was playing from the Watch or iPhone and then music stopped when then went for a run and they likely complained to Apple.
