Mixed record?!? He’s gotten everything wrong in the last year. EVERYTHING!

At this point, I believe the opposite of what he says.

iPhones in September as normal and iPads delayed till 2021, even though I really want the updated one now for my daughters schooling/personal use in the evening.

My poor iPhone X is crying for me to put it to rest already. Can't wait for the iPhone 12
I have an iPhone X also, around 2.5yo?
still finding it snappy, reliable and fully functional. But maybe I’m missing something?

I did find my battery edging on 80% health being quite the detrimental experience, paid the AppStore change fee (it renews the speakers because they have to for it) and it “feels” like new but might just be a big chunk of placebo effect too (besides the fully recovered 1.5 days batter life).

Jon Prosser... who got everything wrong about WWDC. Claimed the iPhone SE2 uses XR camera hardware. And presented a stolen AirPower-clone photo as his own.

Makes an obvious claim hours after Qualcomm announced a delay in 5G shipments.

Thanks, Prosser 😄 We would have never guessed October without your insight!
How many obnoxious tweets, failed claims, lies and downright obvious trickery tactics to try to look good does it take for a leaker to be finally banned or not be taken seriously?

And I actually mean this.

His track record is actually pretty good. What MacRumors claim is inaccurate might still come to pass. Like before when MacRumors claimed Prosser was wrong and they had to delete their posts because they looked like fools. This is probably another one of those times. Never learn. What bone head wrote this article?

This is inaccurate. We haven't deleted articles. Not sure we've really claimed that he's wrong, but the AirPower images that he shared were determined to be a clone device and therefore not a future AirPower. Most leakers get some things right and some things wrong.

Not to knock Prosser (As he had some Accuracy throughout the year) A staggered launch seems obvious and would only make sense anyways. If Apple wants to separate the ‘Pro’ models away from the other entry-level models, plus not to mention any other products that Apple plans on announcing, it’s likely we would see two separate keynotes, with two separate product launches. There’s just way too much criteria to cover in just one keynote, especially given with multiple other products rumored to surface.

Be the same boring phone with the bare minimal update

I think he had a really good source at Apple last year, but Apple is not stupid and they found out who it was. So right now he just guesses – like the other "leakers".

Anybody who has an iPhone 8 or later really does not need to be looking at upgrading to an iPhone 12. Use the phone until Apple stops providing iOS updates or you run out of storage or the phone drops on pavement. On top of when Apple stops providing iOS updates for the device, use it for another 3 years when third party app devs stop supporting that release of iOS. Seriously, think of how much money you could save.

8 is really stretching it... mine already can’t handle what I need it to do.

I’ll be selling my 8 for the 5.4” 12, then if iPhone 13 Pro is the real redesign I’ll be selling my 12 for it.

Also selling my series 5 for series 6 this year.

If you can afford to upgrade yearly why not buy it? I save all year to upgrade my device yearly as it’s the one expensive piece of technology I buy and it’s a very early birthday gift for me. I would never keep an iOS device past the 5 year mark for iOS updates. I don’t see why it’s a good idea to keep using a device past when devs stop providing support for that iOS.
