Apple's iPhone 18 Pro models could be available in a new rich and warm color option, according to a known leaker.

The Weibo user known as "Instant Digital" today suggested that next-year's iPhone 18 Pro models will be available in one of the following color options: Coffee, purple, and burgundy.

The iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, iPhone 14, and iPhone 14 Pro were all available in lavender or purple, but there have never been coffee or burgundy iPhones before. A coffee-colored iPhone 18 Pro could be a good successor to the gold iPhone XS or the "desert titanium" iPhone 16 Pro.

Coffee sits in the brown family as a deep and earthy shade. Burgundy belongs to the red family, blending rich crimson with traces of brown or purple for a darker, wine-like tone. Purple lies between red and blue, but when muted or darkened, it leans warm.

The leaker added that there will still be no black iPhone 18 Pro next year. The iPhone 17 Pro is available in Silver, Deep Blue, and Cosmic Orange. There was no black or gray option for the first time in the device's history.

The iPhone 18 Pro models are expected to launch in the fall of next year, featuring the A20 chip made with TSMC's 2nm process, a variable aperture main camera, the C2 modem, a simplified Camera Control, and more.

If it comes in purple I will buy it immediately- with  care one I can upgrade every year. My personal cycle is January to January. It’s when they have after holiday sales and feel the iOS.2/3/soon to be 4 comes out and fixes the bugs at the beginning. This January- orange pm 512gb - will be at 512 until 1tb becomes standard start ssd. I am obsessed with purple - my iPad Air m2 is purple - my iPad mini 7, 6 purple cases for my 16p titanium. I can go on and on - I really hope the HomePod mini 2 comes in purple - will be replaced immediately haha ! All about color.

Probably need to get rid of all the dyes they purchased for the lackluster sales of iPhone 14/15/16/e regulars. You know like with M2 and Homepods?

I still think Apple should apply these colors to the regular iPhone 18 and (likely) the 2026 iPhone Air models. The iPhone Pro models should be limited to Silver, Space Gray and Black only given their more professional emphasis, in my opinion.
While I agree black and white should always be offered, I do not think that "professional" needs to mean sterile colour options. A large number of Pro models are purchased by Instagram and TikTok influencers, celebrities, etc, all people who care about colour and fashion while also wanting the best camera possible. Even photographers and artists love colour.

In my experience, the business suit and fashion formality has all but vanished from many of the boardrooms and meetings that I attend. Let those professionals who want them have some colourful options. But always have a plain pair of colours for those who prefer something understated.
