Why does it matter what color the back is once it's in the leather case? It would look identical to any other iPhone 7 (or 7 Pus) with a black front.

I have had the apple leather case on my 6 plus and also on my 7 plus, never had any scratches on the bottom of my phone. I usually place the phone top down just to avoid placing it bottom down.
