I agree on the clickiness of the buttons on the nomad, it's the same clickiness you get from the Apple leather case.
I'm puzzled when I read about the older posts, stating that the buttons isn't that clicky.
I have the nomad 12. The buttons are no where near as clicky as apple or the new 13 butI’ve heard a lot of people complain about it. but it personally doesn’t bother me

Apple Leather Case, Golden Brown

is this new or old?
Was about to ask how the Golden Brown patinas over months. Haven’t found pix anywhere else of it after a while

This is two months in. It has darkened just a little, I think. It is not as glowing bright orange as it was, that brightness is slightly muted now. I like this color. It grew on me the more I saw it, and that's why I took it. Also got the same color leather link for the watch.

Been using the Andar with no complaints, but had a credit I could use on an accessory at Verizon so picked up the Golden Brown for my iphone 13 PM. Took some 70% alcohol wipes to it and some leather conditioner and really not that disappointed with how it came out. Few trouble spots that I will probably work on again but kinda curious how it ends up looking after a couple of weeks!

It is both. It is a deep, throaty shade that infatuates people but then they grow to love it.

Both. And it only gets better from here
I am seriously impressed. This thing is so tight and well put together. Reminds me of the time I saw a buddy’s work phone, a matte black iPhone 7, in the Nomad and immediately wanted one.

And the smellllll….. ? I’m totally buying more stuff from them in the hopes that I end up smelling like it. Or maybe I’ll just buy their candles and put them all over the house.

Sequoia green for iPhone 13 Pro Max, 2 months in. This year's leather case has been improved. Last year's has been the worst.
Did your leather case get sticky at all especially around the sides? I've had mine for a little bit and recently it has gotten this sticky texture that I haven't had with any of my previous leather cases.

Yeah, a little. And I think that's normal considering that happened to me before.

It’s been two weeks. My take on Nomad, compared to Apple leather case… It’s heavier. It doesn’t have that leather feel.. slippery.. very prone to scratches but i feel safer, bringing it out. Might switch to the Apple leather case in the next few weeks.

anyway, anyone tried applying mink oil to their Horween leather nomad case? any result after applying?

Questions for people with a nomad for both 12 and 13:

Have any of you tried a 12 in a 13 case?

Other than a seeming upgrade for the buttons are there any differences between the 2?

I agree. I have had my nomad for about 2 weeks too. Doesn’t feel like an actual leather case. I have so many scratches and any droplet of water on the leather gets it bubbly. Customer service is non existent after you received your order. I would not recommend this as a leather case to anyone considering getting one.

12 will not work in 13 case. It might work if you have the pro max though, I think the 13 you also get the digital business card

I’ve never had an issue with their customer service, and actually I prefer the feel of the leather lol

Their customer service was great when I was inquiring and had questions before I received my item. It’s been two weeks and 2 emails. Nothing. I will stick to BS, ANDAR or APPLE going forward.

See, to me that says that it IS an actual leather case. Real, uncoated leather will absorb liquids and change as you use it, that's kind of the entire point and Nomad even advertises that as a selling point. If you want something that won't change you're better off not getting leather at all, or at least get a coated leather like Apple does.
